Didn't see a thread on this but I'm loving the new show!!! So much more grandiose and epic than American Idol!

They should change the title of this to American Idol without Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest. :o

So far IMO the talent they have on this show is better than Idol.

This show has the better format with auditioning in front of a live audience. It has some hysterical/crazy characters also, like the guy who came out pulled down his pants & exposed himself to everybody, singing "I'm A Stud Not A Dud".:hehe:

There is just too many other shows on at the same time that this is on that I am more interested in so looks like I will be skipping the majority of it unless I become completely bored with my other favorite shows.

X Factor in general is just better. Though thus far im still likeing the UK version more, espically right now, the judges say more then just being cut to a yes or no.

Though I cant imagine Simon is happy right now since he said anything under 20mill viewers is failing which X Factor is pulling in The Voice numbers.

Or something like "America's Got Talent" I see more of that in the show than "American Idol"

I believe X Factor has been around longer since all these originated in the UK.

Cheryl>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Nicole

Yea he barely looks a day older than 35

There probably won't be a show tonight as a rain delayed baseball game will bump tonight's episode off the air.

Is that the reason? I was wondering y their showing a re run...

Yeah I heard they will show the Next Episode that was suppose to air tomorrow and then I also heard that Thursdays episode will air on Sunday. If there isn't a Game 7 in the ALCS.

So this still managed to air in Canada....so I guess I may get my XFactor on before tonight.

Can't believe they let tattoo girl go...I thought she was one of the best!

Nicole made such horrible decisions with her group....so sad.

Some of the decisions on who they kept and who they cut from that last round were just insane. They cut the people that seemed the most marketable.

I'm hereby rooting for the guy that is like a talentless, homeless James Brown/Mick Jagger...because he's so awful he shouldn't have even made it to the air, let alone through 3 rounds and passed untold thousands of competitors.

Dexter Haygood and Simone Battle were two awful selections that really can't be justified. I don't see either of them making it past next week's five eliminations.

If I could change the people advancing, in place of Dexter I'd have much rather seen Elaine Gibbs (the wedding singer) in the over 30's; and either Tora Woloshin (tattoo girl) or Caitlin Koch (rugby girl) in place of Simone for the girls category.

Yea can't believe Simone went through...She must be one of Simon hos!

I think Nicole and LA actually had made the better decisions out of them all, Simon made the worst by far.

But each of them made a poor choice, Dexter really? That spot could have gone to almost any of the other contestants which were much stronger. Except ex disney girl

Simon by far made the poorest decisions out of all of them, so much so he had to bring back a contestant and have 5 finalists instead of 4.

Simon made some bizarre decisions, Jazzylin and Caitlin were worthy of being in his Top 4. Simone and Tiah were not IMO, I mean the former forgot her words more than once! Melanie should also have been an automatic Top 4 girl as well. Just the usual shock tactics from Cowell.

I liked Nicole's choices excluding Dexter, she herself even admitted she was voting with her heart!

LA made some very interesting choices in Astro and Chris, they're not your typical X Factor contestant so I'm intruiged by how they do. They are both very talented in what they do. I like Marcus as well but not Phil, he won't go anywhere. We already have a Buble and don't need another. :o

Didn't really care for any of the groups so no opinion either way on Paula's choices. :oldrazz:

I'll be rooting for Chris, Bryan, Marcus and LeRoy anyway.

After thinking about it a little more I think Paula made some smart choices afterall. She basically covered quite a few bases with her selections so she stands a good chance of having an act or two that can go the distance.
