Always great to see someone who advocates for character death in a show clearly trying to recreate the last 2 decades of X books. Not a compliment.

Despite dreading the character treatment under this guy, especially female characters, I also predict Scott will have his lips bitten off by a zombie. He'll never be as cool as Logan.

'97 and the MCU reboot recently got nothing but completely underwhelming and uninspiring choices to me, the games got me quickly disappointed and annoyed, and while I haven't started the new era, I'm a bit disappointed with the end of Krakoa, which was something that got me excited to read the books again. I'm tired of being an X-Men fan.

I’ve seen all these MCU movies and I was like, who the hell is Sharon Carter? Googling it didn’t help lol

She’s a much more interesting character in the comics in addition to her relationship with Steve Rogers. Unfortunately Peggy was made much more significant in the MCU at the expense of Sharon.

Morph was one of the best parts of season 1 and if the writers turf them by retconning their identity or downplaying their comedic timing, I will be pissed.

I’m not a fan of DeMayo and clearly he’s self absorbed based on his Twitter feed, and I think it’s ****ty to assume no one can do it like him. I can accept the “suffering” of art if crappy people are pushed out and better creatives are brought in. That being said, I like what he did with the characters (especially Jean) but there is room for improvement. Let’s hope the subsequent seasons bring that.

This is gross and creepy.

Its not like Sharon was badly written in Winter Soldier when she was introduced. The fact is that Emily Van Camp and Chris Evans just didn't have chemistry (and keeping the canon of Sharon being Peggy's niece intact after the great chemistry Hayley Atwell and Evans had was a huge mistake). That weird hostility towards a fictional character from a writer is just unhinged.

It's hard to say they didn't have any chemistry when the movies didn't really invest in their relationship at all. If you think about it, it should've really been Sharon as Cap's partner in Winter Soldier instead of Black Widow. They shared like one scene together in Winter Soldier.

When '97 came out I was thinking that was the path Marvel wanted to take with the X-Men. Not so sure now. Looks like 97 was the only one going into a different direction.

The change of showrunners makes me nervous too.

Apparently the change to Morrison era costumes came from DeMayo. Not the biggest fan but I also don't see team wearing them the whole season either.

Yeah, you have to keep in mind, DeMayo's firing is going to have very little change to Season 2, given the timeline of animation.
