Was wondering if MARVEL released an adaptation of the movie, was searching through Previews and didn't see it coming out.

And speaking of which are there any movie tie-in specials for the movie?

No. Chris Claremont said on an interview there will not be a comic adaptation for X3.

But doesn't MARVEL have final say on it? Claremont is just an X-Men comic book writer who is no way affiliated with Marvel's business dealings.

I haven't seen one, there isn't anything cool for this movie, no toys, no comic, just Slurpee cups, and it sucks 'cause this was the best of the movies.

There's enough crap out there without need for that...

Besides that do we really need any awful adaptations like the previous ones or for that matter prequels, that don't actually tie into the movie.

The previous two comic adaptations sucked so I was not disappointed to see that they skipped it for X3. You can't take a 2 hour movie (or so) and sum it up well in 32 pages with ads. :p

Same principle goes for every adaptation. It just weakens the plot and is a quick buck for the company.
