X-Men 4: Legacy Of The X-Men
Plot: A virus plagues the streets killing a number of mutants. The incident forces the government to quarantine the area, which causes up rest and fear amongst the mutant community. Knowing that something extreme could occur and to avoid another Alcatraz incident the government decides to fund a special tactics unit under the power and guidance of Henry McCoy. Meanwhile from around the world some of the leading viral and mutation specialists are brought in to investigate the out brake. The team includes Dr. Moira McTaggart, Dr. Celia Reyes and is lead by Dr. Nathaniel Essex. Elsewhere Bobby, Marie & Warren – three former students of the Xavier institute are invited to join Henry’s new special tactics team, Emma Frost is appointed the liaison with the Hellfire Club who have provided the financial support and two of there own pupils (Alex & Lorna) to join Henry’s new team. Elsewhere a mutant thief is hired to steal research on the cure that Dr. Kavito Rao had found from a research facility that was also once the plastic prison that housed “Eric Lenshire” Henry’s new team (Renamed Factor X) are deployed to stop the thief from escaping the facility with the data. But the thief is not alone; with him are the ruthless mercenary mutants known as the maurders that prove to be too much of a match for them however the de-powered Rogue manages to stop the thief Gambit but only resulting in Rogue herself being taken hostage. Defeated the new team head back to HQ without Rogue who was taken with the maurders when they escaped. Back at the research facility Dr. Essex’s experiments become questionable by his team, which leads to the rest of his team to wonder what his real motive is. Later you discover that Dr. Essex hired Gambit to steal the data so he could research the cure. From the research they manage to find that the Virus is an evolved version of the cure that was produced by Leech. During magneto’s riots on the cure facilities serum had fell into the underground sewers where run away mutants called “The Morlocks” live. The virus targeted the mutant gene and instead of trying to cure them the effects are too powerful that it kills mutants. However he decides to frame the Morlocks for the spread of the disease and cause a pandemic. Before he can do so the Government stop his research and Moria is put in charge of the mission. Dr. Essex vows revenge and pays the Maurders to destroy the Morlocks. Meanwhile a captured Rogue talks to Gambit who tells of Dr. Essex true nature and how he cured Gambit from his out of control powers. Rogue regrets that she had her powers removed and so asks if Dr. Essex could help. More Morlocks start to become infected which causes a pandemic, Henry’s team is sent to calm down the situation but the Maurders arrive which causes chaos. Iceman leads the team down the tunnels to stop the Maurders however they split to cover more ground. They manage to get most of the Morlocks to escape but as a result Angel looses his wings. Most of the Maurders are killed except for Vertigo, Blockbuster and Harpoon who returns to Essex to explain what happened. Iceman’s team rush Angel back as the others are horrified, Henry wants to disband the team but Emma says that the mutant community needs them, Iceman says they wont give up until they find Rogue and get revenge for Angel. Back at Essex Laboratory Gambit approaches Essex about Rogue to restore her power, Essex has something more sinister planned, he agrees but not only does she gets her powers back, she gained some, which is flight and super strength. However there was a price for this, she has to fight on his side. She reluctantly takes up that offer. Elsewhere Moria discovers that the Virus was no accident but pre-planned by Dr. Essex to eradicate the Morlocks for an unknown purpose. She informs Henry who as a result joins Iceman, Havok, Polaris and Emma Frost to take down Dr. Essex. They head to his lab where they are greeted by the remaining Maurders with Rogue… Rogue refuses to fight and runs off, Iceman followers her as Beast, Frost, Polaris and Havok fight the Maurders, Rogue runs into Gambit who comforts her, he realises what Dr. Essex really is and names him Sinister! Iceman goes to attack Gambit but Rogue stands in his way. Iceman explains what has been happening and Gambit agrees to help destroy Essex Lab and take them to Essex himself. Gambit takes them to Essex where Essex reveals his master plan to find which mutant were survival of the fittest, Iceman, Gambit and Rogue fight Essex but are easily defeated however with a second breath Essex is defeated by Havok as the rest of the team turn up. The Lab goes into self-destruct, Beast goes to destroy Essex for what he has done but they are betrayed by Emma Frost who helps Dr. Essex escape. The Team then escape the building before it is destroyed; later back at HQ they discover that Moria has discovered a Cure for the Virus, which ends the quarantine. With Angel down and Emma gone Henry asks Gambit to join the team. He at first declines but Rogue convinces him that they need him. Iceman feels that he has lost Rogue to Gambit… The final scene is Dr. Essex who is looking paler than before with his head shaved he gets a tattoo on his arm, which reads Sinister as Emma Frost overlooks.
X-Men 5: Future Legends
Plot: After the events of the Legacy Virus, The government realised the full gravity of the situation. The mutant registration act is brought back into consideration; Trask meets with Cameron Hodge details on how they would action this. Elsewhere Bishop a homeless mutant living rough on the streets has started having psychic visions in his dreams, that of mutant camps, sentinels and the mutant registration act. However the dreams seem to real he becomes freaked out, causing unrest he is chased by cops. Emma Frost saves him and takes him to the hellfire club. Meanwhile Angel has been reflecting on his current de-winged situation. It is something he wanted growing up but he realised they where a part of him and confides in Rogue who recently had her powers restored. Henry McCoy meets with Sebastian Shaw in regards to the mutant registration act and convinces Henry to appear live to the public to talk about what happened with the Legacy Virus and what he feels about the mutant registration act. However this later turns out to be a ploy by Sebastian Shaw to stage a mutant attack thus giving more reason for the mutant registration act. Factor X steps in and calms down the situation only to find that they aren’t really mutants but people paid to stage this by the hellfire club, however there motives are unknown as hellfire are exclusively a mutant high society club with Sebastian Shaw leading there way. Later Bishop starts to receive images that Factor X are responsible for this dark future which Emma Frost tells him the only way to stop this future from happening is for him to stop Factor X. However we learn that the images Bishop have are warped manipulated visions using on of the hellfire clubs own mentalists Jason Wyngarde. Bishop now super powered from his mutant ability causes chaos which draws the attention of Factor X – Beast, Iceman, Rogue, Gambit, Polaris and Havok try to calm him down but he’s not alone. Some of Hellfire’s top members are present including Sebastian Shaw. After several fights with each other and Factor X being severely beaten Shaw reveals his master plan. Bishops future visions have made hellfire find a way to profit. The government is about to realise the Sentinel programme, which they have brought interests in and using their technology they would help create them even giving them immunity towards them. But there is more, it seems that’s hellfire club have been manipulated into doing this by Emma Frost herself. Under orders of Mr Sinister she has caused a series of events that would lead to mutants being pitting against each other to fight for there survival. Hours from the sentinel programme goes live, Both Factor X and Hellfire join to destroy the sentinel factory where all the master date is being held. Meanwhile Angel finds Mr Sinister and demands he restores his wings. If he can give rogues powers back than this shouldn’t be too difficult. Sinister agrees but has other motives. Elsewhere the Factor X group and Hellfire take down the sentinel factory only to find they have gone live and a Master-Sentinel-Control-Unit is the only way they can stop them from being released. Just as all seems lost an unlikely hero saves them… Charles Xavier…returned from the dead Xavier in the body of his brother returns and can walk he manages to destroy the Master-Mold. The Hellfire return to there home as Factor X are left to question Xavier’s return. Xavier reveals that when his body was destroyed his conscious was sent through some kind of time/space reality where he re-entered his brother’s body. Whilst in a coma he managed to send out his visions he saw of the future through Bishop. As Bishop has the ability to absorbed mutant power and distribute it so he was able to pick up these images. However sentinels wasn’t the only thing that he saw in this dark future. He saw the Rise of an Ancient Mutant who wants to rebuild the earth. Before he could finish they are attacked by Arch-Angel – His mind is warped by sinister who made him believe that Factor X made his lose his wings and they must be punished… Factor X tries not to hurt him but instead causes part of a building to fall on him supposable killing him. Bishop realises what he has caused and goes on the run as Factor X return to there HQ. Henry asks if he will be re-opening the X-Men to which he replies there is no need as Henry is doing a good job so far. Xavier returns to the X-Mansion to a shocked Ororo who is overjoyed to see him. The End…. Final scene Arch-Angel has healing factor and meets up with Bishop and offers him redemption for what he has done… Bishop agrees to which Mr Sinister comes out of the shadows.

...Because that great slab of text is too much to even begin to start reading....

I glanced through it... has its moments. Never was a huge X-factor guy. If they did something like X-factor it would have to be more in line with a reboot. Either that or a really loose sequel. I don't want either.

i read it a few days ago but wasnt logged in so i couldnt comment it.

i really like the idea for x4. you started to lose me at x5. and x6 was just way too much!

id take out the whole onslaught idea for sure. and cable, and probably bishop as well.

that all got way too complicated for a movie. i feel that that still leaves you with PLENTY of characters to play around with, build on, and interact with. that way you can work with what we already have and build on that since they werent in the last three very well. lol

i like the way you set up several ways for the xmen to fught as a team, rather than just sending in wolvie. id looove to see some amazing fights from people that arent wolverine. its really sad that no one else throughout the series got a fight scene....unless you count storm getting her ass beat by callisto. anyways, the team would be able to fight the hellfire club and its minions, and the horsemen fights would be amazing and full of action. the fight against angel, and sinister would be pretty rad. and then the apoc. fight would just be bad ass!

and id reconsider waiting so long to bring back jean, and her use. bringing her back just to bring back apoc. seems weird...

Nahh, I dont feel that the focus should be taken off the initial group in these pretty crucial post X3 times.
X4's goin to have its hands full repairing Ratners damage, nevermind bringing in X Factor...

If they had to do X-Factor, I'd like it to be in the vein of the current series, a spin-off about a mutant detective agency.
