When do you think next sequel will be release?

Knowing this:

- X3 was released in 2006, 3 years after X2 (released too 3 years after X1).

- And there are two confirmed spin-offs for the next years, but without confirmation of its relase, althought Tom Rottman has said Wolverine could be in 2008 and Magneto in 2009, but that this could change.

Edit: Other date: Fantastic4 (from Fox, same studio as X-men) was released in 2005, and its sequel, Fantastic Four 2, in 2007. So only two years of difference.

Yeah they'd likely go the spin off route for now. Maybe in a couple of years have xmen 4.

I think one spin-off will be in 2008 and the other in 2009, so I say X4 for 2010. And if we think X3 was in 2006, that would mean 4 yearls later. Don't think they wait more time to do it, really.

IDK i think X4 would probably be three years after the last spin-off is made

I really don't see the point of making an X-Men 4 if it's not made within the next 5 years... they might as well reboot. That's a rather long time just to make a random 4th installment to an otherwise "complete" trilogy... and that's assuming the cast is still even interested by then.

Sorry to break it to you guys... Wolverine is summer of 09... not 08... Jackman just can't fit it in that soon... that means Magneto is 2010... and unless both are smashing hits... don't expect an Emma Frost spin off or Young Xmen spinoff either... if they are... expect another spin off if not more... earliest for an ensemble in when Fox loses the rights... if not... I am hoping 2011 earliest but I doubt it... realistically we are looking at 2015ish... gonna be quite a ways... (with a new cast unfortunately).... maybe even a new team all together with the guys left alive from TLS if that. And no reboots before anyone evern mentions it because its not happening any time soon... it sucks I know... Fox sucks we know... lets just deal with it and move on

if its done in 2015 then I hope they do the whole "days of future past" storyline since they'll all be old enough to lokk the parts

I hate to be a downer because I'm a huge X-fan and have been since the original team in the first books. But from what I've heard while shopping in the "rumor mall" around show business, the X-Men as an ensemble movie franchise are on the shelf...permanently. Of course, that could always change if the spin-offs are successful...but that's a 'wait and see.' The fact of the matter is that Fox undid themselves and the future of the franchise with X-3. Most around town feel there just isn't anywhere to go storywise with the pieces left at the conclusion of X-3...the thing that no one can figure out is why anyone went to the trouble of tacking on that last quick scene with Pat Stewart following the credits...everyone knew halfway through production that this was 'it.' By tacking that scene on, they alluded to a possible 'future'...knowing full well that there wasn't a future. !?!

No X4. Young x-men is the way to go

I want a new animated series most of all!!

I say give the franchise to Sony already :o

I'd like for X-Men 4 and Spider-Man 4 and Avatar to come out in the same year of 2010 or 2011.

I really do not want the X-Men franchise to stop, they have plenty of juice left, and they haven't even scratched the surface with X-MEN.

Here...on my word...rise THE APOCALYPSE!

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

i'd say 2010. this should give them enough time to prepare so the movie isn't rushed

The movie still can be rushed, if they decide to start it late.

They should sign a writer, or director, or both next year, for a 2010 release, I think.

Wolverine will start shotting at the end of this year, according to Hugh Jackman, so will be release next year, 2008. So Magneto for 2009, and then.... next year?.... what could be?.... X4? ahhahaha.

The 2010 release sounds more possible as time passes. :woot:

2010 sounds most plausible to me, but I'm hoping for 2009. I know that a number of the actors/actresses, including Halle Berry, have openly said that they would drop everything for a chance to make another X-Men Sequel. Honestly, if Hugh were the fly in the ointment who couldn't fit X4 into his schedule, I think it would be okay to drop Wolvie from the movies. I'd like him to stay, but I'd rather have an X4 without him than no X4 at all. Honestly, he's not the most important character anymore. I think the focus should shift to the younger X-Men, with Storm as the leader.

You guys seriously think Fox will dish 300 million on an X4? Thats what it will take to bring back Halle and the Young X-men... cmon we know Fox... they are cheapos... thats why if they do 2010... it will be too soon for the franchise to recast... its just way too much money... if without Patrick, Ian, and Hugh. The rest of the cast is gonna be pretty pricey... buts thats just a fraction... of course you need to step up the CGI to bring in the bigger and badder villains... (Sentinels, Apocalypse)... its way too much money. Why did Fox turn to the spinoff route? Cause its a heck of a lot cheaper... as much as I want Halle, Shawn, Kelsey, Paquin back... its asking a lot for them to do three more flicks... X4 wouldn't be any grand finale... people will still want sequels beyond that considering X3 wrapped it all up.

if they make an x4 film, it probably wont come out till 2011 probably 2012.
wolverine in 2008
magneto in 2009/2010
after that they'll probably leave it a year or two. they wont continouesly keep bringing an x-film out year after year. also they wouldnt start production on x4 while magneto is still in production. so my guesses are 2011. as they will leave a year after magneto before production starts.

2011 i think...

Wolvarine - 2008
Magneto - 2009 (X-men releated release at the first or last week of May)
Fantastic Four 3 - 2010 (August)
X-men 4 - 2011 (May)
Wolvarine 2 - 2011
Magneto 2 - 2012

Possible options are that F4-3 going against Batman Begins in July 2010. Universal is crazy if there don't making a Hulk 3,atleast 3 years after The Incredible Hulk. If X-men 4 releasd in May 2011,the movie have 4-5 weeks before Hulk 3 if Hulk releasd at the end of June, but Universal having the same problem then as in 2003 with X-men 2 against - Hulk.

F3 could be released in 2009, two years after the second, like happened with the first two.

FF3 is probably 2010.... Fox should take their time with it and put out a good product... the movie can't afford to be another crap fest...

Fox is Fox, as some say, so, they easily can do the same: two years between each sequel.

Will there be an X4?

All of this predicting is putting a downer on my, i just wanna another x-men film, no spin offs!

I really don't think there will be an X4. Another team film? Yes, but not a direct sequel to X3. The franchise budget would blow up, and I have a feeling Anna, James, Famke, Patrick, Ian, and even Hugh (after his solo film) wouldn't be interested. Maybe Zak Penn's spin-off will be the next phase of 'team' films (though I wish he wasn't attached to anything X-Men). :o
