This is only my rough outline.

Emma Frost is hired as the new Headmistress

Cyclops is found to be alive, living in Alaska. Jean did not kill not but made him think he was a local cop named Chris. Jean knew what the Phoenix was going to do and used her last efforts to save her true love. Frost using Cerbra (Cerbro V.2) locates him, she finds two signal that match Scott's cerbro profile, one in Alaska the other in Hawaii. The later is a man named Alex Summers. Frost has sent two groups of X-men to invesigate. Both teams are attack by groups of mutants( see below riders of the dark)

A new group of Mutants calling themselves "The Riders of the Dark" are calling for mutants to destroy the weak and prove that mutants are superior. Lead by a man named Essex, these mutants are powerful foes.

Essex is looking to create the perfect mutant using one of the first mutant bloodlines (the Summers line)

Due to recent attacks, the president has Bolivar Trask began Project: Wide Awake. We see Bastion over seeing a mass production line of Sentinels.

The Riders are succesful in capturing Scott and Alex. Frost is no longer able to pinpoint their location. Wolverine captures a Rider named Gambit. For a price Gambit gives up the location of the brothers, Egypt.

The X-men go in full force to Egypt and face off against the riders. As the X-men began to win Essex escapes with "notes" in the summers. Everyone is happy to learn Scott is alive. Back at the manision Scott has tearful scene in front of the graves of his love and his mentor.

The final scene is Essex meeting a man who appears to be made of stone (Ozymandias). The man tells him that the "Master" will not be pleased that Summers were lost, but the info Essex has may spear his live for another century.

I would like to see the next trilogy show

1. The rise of Apocalypse.
2. The Sentinels enforcing anit-muntants laws
3. Morlock Raid
4. Many More TBA

Any someone needs to stop watching Underworld over and over again. That has very close parallels to the Underworld movies, and those were not very good movies.

You have tons and tons of Comics books to follow, why try to stretch one out? Remember the Batman movies? How they tried to Hollywood the movies? Penguin living in a sewer, Riddler sucking ppl's brains etc, yeah get out of that mindset.

The Industry learned a valuable lesson from those movies, look at all the Marvel movies that have came out, they have tried to mimic the comics as close as they can, dont stray from that

Havok shows up to the Mansion looking for answers on his brothers supposed death.

Younger mutants (New Mutants) train in the Danger room, including Jubilee, Cannonball, and Sunspot.

Cyclops is being held captive by Mr. Sinister since the Alkali Lake incident.

Rogues powers start coming back, she accidentally absorbs the powers of flight, super-strength, invulerability. She inadvertantly kills the mutant in the process. She leaves the school once again, eventually meeting Gambit.

Gambit has ties to Mr. Sinister.

Iceman takes on a leadership role.

Kitty and Collossus start to form a relationship.

Finding out that the cure is actually only temporary, the Government starts to develop Sentinels, just in case another Alcatraz incident happens again.

The X-men find out Cyclops might still be alive.

Many mutants start to get there powers back and they are pissed. They ban together and once again attack Washington including Juggernaut, Pyro, Avalnche, Toad and the Blob (which is set up by Mr. Sinister), the Sentinels clean house, one group of X-Men are sent to deal with that.

A second group of X-men search for Cyclops and find him. The X-men fight a group of mutants (The Murauders). They rescue Cyclops but Angel is taken prisoner in the process.

Magneto searches for 2 mutants that might be his children. (Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver)

Mr. Sinister ressurects Apocolypse

This movie would just be the first half to a 2 part movie arc about Apocolypse like Matrix 2 and 3.

I've never seen Underworld, so I would like to know how my outline reminds you of a horror movie. Also, how can you compare it to that crap that was "Batman". SO, no I am not in that mindset, plus I am streching it out. This outline was for the first of 3 movies with Apocalypse being the major villian and he doesn't even show in this film. The Sentinels begin production here but do begin public use until a later film. And for the record I have not strayed from the comics at all. Read your X-history again my friend. I will admit that I changed things but with the previous movies changes had to be made. Also, sorry for the lack of Rogue but I feel her story is done.

As to why I picked Emma, the Xaviers is school and part of the recruitment is using Cerbro to find new mutants. And since the only 2 people who could use it are gone, Emma is the next best choice. Plus I look forward to seeing Emma and Ororo fighting over how the school should be ran. Also, not to pat myself on the back but I thought my handling of Scott was great. He is in Alaska living under the name Chris (a nod to his father, for those of you that say I strayed from the comics), he is dating a nice girl named Madelyne Pryor.
