Here in Brazil Comicbook movies are very popular, but there isn't any hype for XMA. 95% of the feedback is negative. There are different kind of complaints, most of them are regarding Jlaw/Mystique( her acting, the fact that she is Jlaw-form even when she is alone with Hank in the mansion and how that "Mutant and proud" thing is meaningless now; the fact that she is the leader). A lot of complaints about how (judging by the trailers) Scott, Jean and Storm won't talk a lot. Complaints about Apocalypse's look, the CGI in the trailer, the black costume, and the costumes based on the comics that look cheap. I mean, at least here I don't think the movie will perform well.

I just watched Captain America: Civil War and I love the action scenes. Very fluid. Why can't Singer dam do it? Oh never mind. He can't bring the xmen costumes to justice, so I shouldn't be surprised if the action scenes aren't as good as what MCU can do.

Strange to single out JLaw, because if I were a casual fan I would mostly see Storm and Psylocke as far as the promo's go.

I think are likely only talking about a certain amount of the brazil audience since not everyone cares about any of this stuff, its just the people who complain are always louder because people would rather you know the stuff they hate then talk about the things they like.

You're right. The one I was looking at was a bit older. It'll probably get at least a bit higher again as we get closer to release. Hopefully. Still slightly higher than DOFP though...

It will be embressing if alice gets top of box office.especilly since it doesn't take rocket science to say alice will get far less critical score than X-Men.
That would probally ensure apocalypse is last X-men film released in may.
with MCU permeantly getting may slot and star wars returning to memorial day in 2018 with han solo origin film that likely was going to happen anyway.

the anti-X-men people online will be braging alice beat them if alice opens
bigger.

Alice has increased, but I am still seeing $70 for the four day, which is significant margin for X-men.
