Asrar designed Psylocke's new costume

His rough sketch looks better than the finished product we've seen of other artists

I like that Betsy is back to her original British form. I came into comics during the 90s and only knew her in her Asian form for years, but while going back and reading older issues, I found that I really preferred her back then. I think the constant sexifying of the Asian Betsy got old for me (though it's gotten better of late).

I liked the Kwannon/Ravanche plot in the 90s though and would actually like to see the two of them as individuals again. We'll see if it happens.

Guessing you havent read Mystery in Madripoor?

[BLACKOUT]Kwannon is back alive as well[/BLACKOUT]

Huh... I read the issue but must have missed that. Going back and looking through it, I read that page and it didn't click that that was Kwannon. I don't know why as it's pretty obvious, but I think I just saw "Psylocke" and thought Betsy. Then again, it was late when I read this issue and I was tired.

Do we have any information on when this plot will be followed up on?

No clue. Now that the issue is out, I wouldnt be surprised if Marvel announces a mini to deal with that

I hope so.

So here's a question for you guys. It seems like the X-Men always have solid transition points from one era to the next. Do you think the upcoming Uncanny X-Men event will be the end of the current era or the beginning of the next?

Psylocke appeared in Dead Ends today and
apparently Jean is helping her deal with her change. She seems to be psychologically messed up about it
. Im glad at least it looks like there will be ramifications other than her being colored differently

Well, Extermination answered the question about how they would deal with Angel's Black Vortex powers in order to go back in time...

Kinda complicated. Would have been simpler to just kidnap Elixir and have him do a quick fix

Extermination is great. It was low on my radar but the first two issues feel worthy of a comic wrapping up the last several years with the O5.

The team teen Jean decided to go with is a random choice for her. I wonder if there's reason, but regardless its a cool team.

I
think she figures that X-Force know Cable and his fighting tactics better than anyone. They'd be best equipped to handle him when he comes back for her

I am also assuming that Rosenberg is getting another New Mutant mini. Because, what the hell!

X-men Blue, it was nice to see villainous Magneto again. And I like his new Brotherhood.

Revanche is resurrected and Psylocke is back to her original body!

I didn't even read the Hunt for Wolverine Mystery in Madripoor and merely skimmed the pages but my wig wasn't ready! Also I'm eXtastic that the time displaced o5 are leaving while oml is dying soon! I like the eXtermination series so far, but I amjust so ready for the alternate/younger version to leave. To me, this decade is mostly about the younger/alternate/knock offs as the new breakouts of this decade and I just want someone who isn't a legacy character.

Also what is this Typhoid Mary series... It cheapens the Uncanny X-Men ten week event with Red/Typhoid possibly overlapping it.

hmmm. I don't know I never liked it when they flip flop with magneto from good to bad repetedIy. I don't. I don't care if it's something that's been gong in for ever, It just comes off as the writers bickering when ever a new one(new up &coming writer) comes along compared otherformer writers that came before him & her (which is tiresome buthas been happen alot since 2013) and the character that hasn't been put in the "mental health illness catigory" looks silly when ever this happens.

also if they are ever to make villain like magneto or Dr.doom go good, it should be permanent & in order to stop this repeated back & forth . they should create a villain to fill the void and be that former villains arch enemy. thiswas the perst with orginal onslught oll he need was human body and be constin remindder to magneto that his former action are a mistake.

all this event reminded of was what took place in the original new mutants series when magneto was trans fromed from a baby to an adult again and was driven crazy (had break down )cause when he was trying be a responable head master/Director of the school to the new mutants student's they kept on wanting to in danger them selves on mission's he didn't authorise. acting like brat's kind like what taking place in illyan new mutant's team. it 's odd how this is all happening at once too.

well the only thing that was off with him back then was him joining the hell fire club during that time . later it was show when X-men gold & blue team's were first made (when magneto showed and Told both the gold and blue team's that moira & Xaver put in both mental & gentic program to have magneto act as good as possible instead of his annyoying flip flops) the latter of which was used on X-men such as psyloke who should still remember it's not a good idea to manipulate others cause it comes back in nasty ways. it's seem she learned nothing from that event while experinceing it first hand. or the writers like making sure the X-men that have thing's happen to them become stupid people.

but that's what this event of time travel reminded me of . nah this regression wasn't good IMO. and I 've always been of the mind set if your gonna make former a villain become good create a villan to fill the void. and make sure it's permanent.

it's the same way that's always said when evil defeated/ destroyed that's always someone or thing to replace that evil to fill the void some times equal or even more Evil. this is just repeat and rehash ville. cause some writers don't want to agree what the formers did and come off bad split personality in chose's to the audince. if this was done on pime time tv this will be what ended the tv serise. and I don't want to see a" why was the show cancelled " if it was a tv series or movie. The reason clear.

The comics always rehash things. From dozens of characters dying and being resurrected, villains from the past always popping up to cause trouble for the enth time, its a never ending rehashing of things. That's what happen when Marvel releases a dozen of titles every month. They hardly even create new villains from scratch now.

I don't think a good decade as part of the X-men is constantly flip flopping.

We could use some new villians, really. :(

Even the Inhumans have a new villain in Death of the Inhumans. Anyway, I skimmed Hunt for Wolverine: Dead Ends, is Periscope a new villain? I haven't seen her before.

And yes, they should totally create new villains. Even the 2000s had Cassandra Nova, though not completely original as she just looks like an evil Xavier. I think the Nancy from X-Men Gold is new, though not completely refreshing. A lot of X titles well the team books that I'm reading just recycle villains. Its just a matter of time when Apocalypse, Sinister and Bastion are about to make a return. And if they aren't recycling villains, they are turning the good mutants into a villain. I just skimmed Dead Souls, I didn't read it but was that really Warlock or just some evil alien?

I know I know, this is impossible just like hoping for a new breakout star in the team that isn't a clone/daughter/son/younger version/alternate version of an established character, but I'd like to see Marvel create a new big bad that would be remembered for decades. I liked Children of the Vault but they are forgotten.

Also I'm curious what the big event will be in Uncanny. I don't know if it is the ramification from eXtermination, but I hope it would be something monumental, like I'm hoping it would the event to think of when we look back in 2018 and the 2010s.

Bastion was just used in Blue and Sinister in the Hunt for Wolverine. Apocalypse returns this fall in X-men Black

Periscope was new to me so I assume she is a new big and bad. :)

It’s not constant of course, but it does cheapen going good for a very long time for me also if you are eventually going to go bad again anyway. But I guess that’s comics lol and people (including me) are always going to want to see evil Mags again so I’m not really complaining. He’s too cool a character.

Perscephone isn't appearing in a X-Men team title though, so even if she's new... She's more of a Wolverine villain right now. Which brings me to my neXt complain... So we are getting the Uncanny X-Men X-Weeks event. Yet they are also doing it at the same time with Return of Wolverine, X-Men: Typhoid Mary and End of Old Man Logan.... Umm okay.
