Sequels X-Men Sequel - Part 7

Can't please everyone, but hey last time she was shown to be a doctor was X1 and since then its not really been a thing so even if nothing led to it then it probably wouldn't be one of those things they really felt they needed to show.
I have not said it is an obligation to bring it back.

Heck you would be lucky if even singer brought it back, he isn't exactly consistant with what he has done previously.

Kinberg may want to do as some people here distance from all the singer films especilly x-men and x2.regardless it's doudtful after semi reboot in dofp them
wanting to use anything from old series.this seems to tradion now with reboots
not using elements and characters from older films see spider-man homecoming.

this likely gets me in toruble but why the hell isn't there a dark phoenix section.

film has title, release date, director attached,8 returning stars confirmed and another in neogrations, and it's now filming.

Jean having an interest in medicine at least gives her some development outside of her powerset.

I'm not opposed to it being brought back.

I think this is important to me, these people don't seem to have any interest in real life, it gives the impression that just cause they're in a school for the gifted they only study literature and everything in their lives will be paid for by the dean. The place is a school and Jean, Scott and Ororo are some of its first students, give them a degree on anything, it's been at least 8 years. You can't just go around doing vigilante work in the middle of Mystique's speeches and call that a living.

You can still study in your 20s. (her being 23-24)

There really is no rush for them to grow up into maturity.

Its like saying we need to lead up to cyclops having that big bulky visor thing in X1, now they could do that... or they could do it differently.

I completely agree, and I don't expect any crazy adherence to the original trilogy (who does at this point?) I just hope that Simon Kinberg, takes so time to give the characters a little extra something, and it would be easier for him to take the subtle road X1 took when defining who these people were outside their crazy powers.

What I always loved about the X-Men in general (Comics, TV shows and movies) was the interest in showing that mutants had lives and daily struggles, in this new timeline the "humanity hates mutants" has pretty much disappeared and I'm OK with that, but to take the individuality of the characters would be a killing blow, and I hope Mr Kinberg has a script doctor on speed dial.

Logan and poentially the gifted if they are set in present timeline show things won't be all rosey for mutants.it's possable like apocalypse they take influence from mcu.

kinberg is unlikely to have someone rewrite his own script.and subtle may not be in his work.

I watched Apocalypse again on Sunday. Evan is very good in the role. I'm happy that he's back.

I am going to take minority view here and say disappointing here.i felt the slow quicksilver sequenze in apocalypse didn't work at all in apocalypse.

since so far kinberg has dropped any characters who survived apocalypse except for moira and psylocke i guess jubilee will probally be ike havok and show up at school.

i still worried about how jean and cyclops will be devolped but nothing to do about it.

Come on, fingers crossed Lana Condor is next down the line. Glad that Peters is back, curious as who Johnson is playing, since his character is being kept 'under wraps.'

Young Bishop
Synch
Triage
Prodigy

Can't think of any other possibilities for good black male X-Men. Unless he's a race swap.

Who am I missing? (Probably a couple students I forgot)

she may be back but may not has much bigger role than apocalypse.keep in mind there were several roles they were casting apart from lilandra.

it's also a feat they got all major roles from apocalypse who survived back except for moira.inless you want to include psylocke and angel in that but few thought they would return.

Now I'm just waiting for they to confirm the Scarlet Witch in X-Men Dark Phoenix.

BTW when will X-Men Dark Phoenix get its own Forum here? Is about time.

Hahaha. Seriously though, I wish they would have saved him and Magneto for a Genosha-centric storyline. Heck, between the two studios, Fox is more capable of adapting a House of M-style storyline.

I'm really afraid as to how they are going to handle the Magneto-Quicksilver relationship amidst the whole Dark Phoenix plot going on.
