X-men tas on dvd!

Me and my brother always made jokes about Jean fainting. She seemed to do it every time she used her powers. She mentally contacted the Professor, then fainted. She created a forcefield to block something, then fainted.

You want to play a drinking game? Watch the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix episodes, and take a shot each time Jean faints.
"I AM PHOENIX! Help me..." *faint*
"NOW, PHOENIX! YOU AND I ARE ONE!" *faint*

You can also make a drinking game out of each time Storm addresses the weather aloud as if it were a person.

I loved this series! I hope the seasons come out.

Episodes better be in order. I'm tired of dvds that put down random episodes.

Ah, best line ever in that series was when Rogue was all...''You need to lighten up on the speeches, sugah."

Ugh...I'm glad its on DVD, dont get me wrong, but if its four episodes per volume I'm gonna be pissed. They need to man up and put out whole seasons.

Wait...actually after reading that article, I'm thinking that they might very well be season sets. Both volumes are 2-Disc sets and there were 13 episodes each in the first two season sets. And seeing as how, in the BTAS volume 1 they had seven episodes a disc, I think there is a good chance these are season sets. The only thing that seems to be off is the price...

Disney would be really really stupid to put only 4 episodes on 2 discs.

I hope you're right.

how about if they edited the pheonix and dark pheonix episode into movie form how'd THAT do?
by movie form i mean one movie for each saga

there is ways you can get the entire series . i picked it up a couple years ago and watched every episode and they were in the correct order with maybe 3 out of place.
it also included an episode using the different animation they were going to use that was focused on jubilee and i'm actually glad never happened. i also saw a much earlier version that was short lived but would of also been good.

anyways it's one of the best cartoons ever and should of been given the official dvd treatment before now .

I used to love this show, it's about time they released it on DVD. The theme tune is EPIC.

I looked up the show's episode list. That's 9 episodes. That's 4 1/2 hours of Saga (or closer to 3 1/2, without commercials).

whoops i should have said edited into two movies one for each saga

Perhaps another good sign is that Cable is on the Volume 2 set, and he first appeared in season two. Or it could just be using the episodes from season two that he appeared, but hopefully not.

They also retail for $16.99 on Amazon.com but they have no other details there.

has anyone looked on ebay for full seasons?
i have the entire series, from beginning to end, on 6 discs.
its not hi def, but very watchable.

that really is the world's worst cover art

LEGS! Where are the LEGS?!

Been wanting this for like ever...glad to see it finally coming on DVD...wish they would have also released them on Blu-ray though.

The first box doesn't look so bad but dear god that second one is just horrendous. Guess the artist just got sick of drawing legs or something...

Looks like the two are attached to Wolverine's "area".
