These are some of the known continuity goofs in X-Men: The Last Stand.....(this thread is for fun, not complaining)
* Continuity: During the fight between Wolverine and Spike, Wolverine gets stabbed in the stomach, leaving two holes in his singlet. For all the following shots in the sequence, the holes have disappeared. While Wolverine himself can heal in seconds, his clothes are just clothes, not mutant clothes.
* Miscellaneous: In the closing credits, the credit for Paint Foreman is misspelled as Paint Forman.
* Crew or equipment visible: Camera reflected in the hub cap of Cyclops's motorcycle when parking.
* Continuity: When Magneto is moving the cars on the bridge at the end, a reddish van in the center of the road is moved to the side. A couple of shots later, the same van is again moved from the center to the side.
* Revealing mistakes: When Beast meets Leech there is a close-up of Beast's face as he remarks on Leech's power which reveals the netlike tape used to attach the blue fur to his face.
* Miscellaneous: When Scott is at the lake, he raises his hands to shield his eyes from the bright light, yet the shadow cast covers a lower part of his face, not his eyes, meaning raising his arms at all was entirely pointless.
* Revealing mistakes: When Wolverine shows Jean Scott's glasses when he is trying to control her, a close-up of his hand reveals a small cut on one of his fingers. In the X-Men universe, Wolverine has healing powers and therefore never has any cuts on his body.
* Continuity: When Professor Xavier and Magneto enter Jean Grey's old house and find her sitting on a chair, items in the room are levitated around her. When the items drop, the bookcase over her right shoulder hits the ground and all the books fall off, the lamp on top remains on. In a later shot the books are back in the book case and the lamp is on the floor.
*Continuity: In the scene where Magneto and Charles Xavier are in Jean Grey's house (when she is older and making everything around her float in the air), watch the book shelf when it falls down. At least 25 books fall out of the top shelf and in the next few shots you see that the number of books fallen has minimized greatly.
*Continuity: SPOILER: When Beast stabs Magneto with the cure, three of the needles are in a horizontal line. Later, right before Magneto pulls them out, they're in a vertical line.
* Continuity: SPOILER: During the final battle, Beast and Wolverine spot unused 'cure' darts in a gun cartridge. At first there are four darts, then when they look again, there are three. Later when the darts are used against Magneto, there are four again.
*Continuity: SPOILER: While Wolverine is trying to walk toward Jean in the final showdown. His clothes (and chunks of his skin) are ripped off. There are a few shots where his pants have been ripped down to boxer brief length, but after he reaches Jean, they are full pants again.
*Plot holes: SPOILER: When magneto tries to take the plastic guns from the marines he cant, but the needles in the guns have metal needles, which he should be able to manipulate.
*Plot holes: SPOILER: During the climactic battle scene, the US Army defends the lab with mortars which disperse hypodermic needles filled with the mutant antigen. Many of these find their way to the ground. There were also a few hundred on the ground after the guns were shattered. So, how was the barefooted Beast (or any other mutant who was barefoot or fell to the ground for that matter) able to avoid being stuck with a needle - thus losing their powers?
*Continuity: SPOILER: When Magneto moves the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz it is still sunset, but as soon as he and the Brotherhood set foot on the island it is pitch black.
*Continuity: SPOILER: After Magneto is stabbed with the cure, and drops to the ground, we see the needles plugged into his chest. The scene switches to Jean, back to Magneto, no needles. Then the scene switches off of Magneto again, and when it goes to Magneto for the last time, the needles are in him again.
*Continuity: SPOILER: During the final battle, Magneto pulls cars up from the bridge behind him and catapults them onto the island. However, in later wide shots we can see behind him and the bridge is still jammed solid with vehicles.
*Revealing: In one shot during the scene where Bobby and Kitty are skating on the frozen fountain, Bobby's skates can be seen to be metal covered in ice, rather than the solid ice we saw when he made them.
*Continuity: When Storm confronts Wolverine when he's leaving, his position changes between shots. From over her shoulder, he's much closer then when the shot is over his shoulder.
*Continuity: As the scene where Angel is about to get the "cure" in the San Francisco skyscraper, you can see the reflection of San Francisco in the outside of the building - a huge hill with lots of buildings, and a large white tower at the very top. But when the camera switches to inside the building, looking outside, the view has suddenly changed to a view of the bay, and Alcatraz.
*Continuity: In the forest of the Brotherhood, when Wolverine first extends his claws, the sleeve of his leather jacket can be seen above his fist. Despite the fact that he never is seen taking it off, he is only wearing a tank top a second later.
*Factual error: Take a look at Google Earth - the section of the Golden Gate Bridge Magneto breaks off (tower to tower, with a bit of overhang, 0.9 miles at most, more like 0.85) is not long enough to reach Alcatraz - the two closest points are 0.96 miles apart, and that's the very end of a pier, which most likely couldn't support the weight of the bridge anyway.
*Continuity: When Magneto is moving the cars on the bridge at the end, a reddish van in the center of the road is moved to the side. A couple of shots later, the same van is again moved from the center to the side.
*Continuity: In the van when the brotherhood attacks to get Mystique, she is shot with one of the darts of the gun. This should leave three. Magneto keeps the gun. But when Jean takes it apart and plays with Magneto, there are four again.
