This has probably been discussed before, but whatever...!
With programmes like "Heroes" we're seeing X-Men rip off's making their way onto TV. I think that an X-Men live action TV series could happen - if it was handled right and stayed faithful to the comics and wasn't cheesy. But who would you cast? Don't pick big name actors cos' that wouldn't be realistic!
I only have a few casting ideas...
Gambit - Eoin Bailey, I don't know much about this guy but he's supposed to be a good actor and in this pic, he's how I've always imagined Gambit. I would prefer Gambit to be older, around the same age as Cyclops and Jean Grey.
Bishop - Keith Hamilton Cobb, he IS Bishop. There's no other choice really! I mean, look at the guy! And I love his voice, so sexy. AND he is a good actor - I think.
Jean Grey - Ellen Pompeo, not an obvious choice, but she has this glint in her eye that makes her seem like she could pull off a fantastic Dark Phoenix. She's nice, but a little bit naughty. Love her husky voice.
Cyclops - Jamie Bamber, he's proven in Battlestar Galactica that he can play the uptight leader, I think he'd be perfect. He has the body and he has the look. I'd cast him in a second.
Iceman - Jensen Ackles, again, he's proven he can play the cool, over confident guy. Might as well be type cast!
Rogue - Eliza Dushku, very talented, very sexy. She could pull off that whole tortured thing. Not sure whether she could pull off the accent though...haven't ever heard her attempt a southern accent before!
Magneto - John Slattery, dunno why, I never imagined Magneto looking that old, despite being a child during WWII...
OK, I'm done for now!
