Would you like to see an Avengers versus X-Men film in the MCU or do you think it’s an idea that’s best left on the printed page?

That's pretty much a given. But to bad it won't have the original Cap and Iron Man in it.

In a vacuum with all the original Avengers? Yes. But some people don't realize that these movies, characters age and we only get so many years/movies out them.

I just want a comic-accurate original X-Men team for starters,
Let's get that right before jumping into more recent storylines.

I think this is inevitable, for sure. Could potentially be the next 2-Part Mega Picture. But their'll have to be another decade worth of build-up for the X-Men and New Avengers first.

It would never be possible but would rather have a JL v Avengers film.

Yes, because it has immense potential. But it needs buildup. Maybe after the first two X-Men films, you can AvX and have it be the swan song for some of the Legacy characters who took over 10 years prior

I think it could work if the next version of the Avengers is a government sanctioned entity ala Thunderbolts, Dark Avengers or Freedom Force. The mutants are accused of harboring a mutant terrorist, the New Avengers get sent in and chaos ensues. The two sides later team up against the REAL baddie.

For all those billions Disney spent on Fox, we’ll be getting some kind of version of AvX.

The X-Men and the Avengers are supposed to be on the same side plus it would seem like kind of a re-tread of the "civil war" we had with Captain America and Ironman. The faces might change, the reason might change, but it would still in essence be the same thing.

No thank you. I barely want the X-Men in the MCU but it's going to happen anyway.

Of course as Marvel fan... I am expecting it.

I always thought that before Marvel Studios can do Secret Wars, they should make X-Men vs Avengers first.

It will be MCU next biggest event.

I voted no, as I have ZERO interest in the comics story with the lame "Phoenix 5" nonsense

But I'm sure, like Civil War, the MCU will completely change up the story and give us something called AvX that's better than the comics

But as opposed to Civil War, hopefully this story would still have the epic scope of the comics

At this rate its going to be X- men vs Young/sidekick Avengers....going to seem very forced

Yeah, even if released right now, not having a Cap vs Cyke stare down would be disappointing
And we already had Civil War, let's not let the MCU turn into the glut of hero vs hero stories the comics were there for a while

Honestly, tho, I feel like a conflict between the X-Men and whatever the Avengers are by that point, is sort of inevitable.

They exist on two completely different fringes of society, government and law. The Avengers are arms of the government/state, and the government hates mutants :O Soooo, they gonna butt heads eventually.

There's a reason why they have such a strained relationship in the comics

Just thinking, Tom Holland may be older than the actor that will be cast to play Cyclops/Jean maybe even Logan..Xmen are joining the MCU at an awkward time...
