X Saga continued via animation?

Here's my theory...................no more movies. Let's accept it, guys... the possiblilty for camp is toooo strong (my cat Bungee agrees)

However, if Fox continues the movie "plot" via animation (think The Clone Wars by Genndy Tartakovsky) it would be GREAT. Much more freedom w/animation than actors (cheaper too and less time to turn out).

What do you think?

I totally agree with you...

It's quite clear we're not going to see what we want in a live action film... so just animate it. That way you can please pretty much everyone...

What I would like to see is a new X-Men TV series using the same Live Action/Animation style of "A Scanner Darkly."

Actually I would have no prop with the animation as long as Jean was back lol. It be cool atleast we'd get to see it once a week versus one new film once every two or three years.

I would love to see Phoenix and Dark Phoenix done in some kind of animated project... It would make up for the way we got screwed over that in X3

They wouldn't have to do a series, just straight to DVD releases about the various different stories, like AOA, Days of Future past etc...

it would be great...

although of course it would never properly compensate for not seeing Phoenix in live action...

I read about that, It was first posted on the Marvel site back on Oct 14, 2005 here regarding an animated series about Wolverine that will debut on Summer of 2007.

Sure but let it pick up after X2 and let's see the Dark Pheonex Saga done right in this universe and maybe Magneto doesn't have to turn into a campy moustache twirling bad guy who compromises his moral high ground.
