I know I wasn't the only one who loved the X3 score.
I think John Powell did an amazing job.

Does anyone have a link to download the X3 score?
I would love to have it.

Thanks.

Sorry.
All I need is the link for redirect.
I didn't feel like going through pages.

can someone pleassse psot some of the tracks? pretty please?? :(

i love it! Especially Dark Phoenix Tragedy and Phoenix Rising. oh and Whirlpool of Love :O

I thought the techno pop stuff he did for the Bourne movie was just fine. I thought he was way out of his league on this one, and I for one I miss John Ottman even more. Powell, IMO has no sense of dramatic style or pace. It felt the entire movie like someone was saying, "now write something superhero-ey". I'm not trying to be negative....I was real dissapointed. Ottman had some very nice themes woven through the second one. Shame to not have him back.

And this isn't the topic of this thread but I missed him in the editing department too. I now know how important that is now.

My favorites?

Dark Phoenix's Tragedy, Angel's Cure, Phoenix Rises, The Funeral and The Last Stand.

Pretty please post/host the tracks.......

:(

I miss the Music from the first 2.....I heard something reminicient of it intergrated in......but it wasn't the same.

The music score was very well done. I saw the film for the second time, and this was one of the things I paid attention to this time around. It is really powerful, and majestic. This is most noted with the climax of Phoenix and Wolverine. It has a sort of Egyptian feel to it. I don't know why I think that, but it seemed to have that to me. I loved it.

The music throughout the film really conveyed the emotion and was well presented. I believe I will purchase this soundtrack.

me too. I don't believe this man had the right feel for this movie. It felt very "Superfriends" hero-ey. There was a depth to Kamen's and Ottman's stuff that this man lacks. IMO.

and While we're on Ottman....I miss him in the editing room. I realize how important that is now.

I'm not one to usually start threads, but i thought the music in the film was great.

By far the best score out off all of them.

Discuss.

I love Whirlpool of Love, and in particular, Bobby's and Kitty's lake scene. Amazing music.

I kept on getting hints of Danny Elfman in some songs...

But, yes, I thought the soundtrack was wonderful

I thought the score was amazing, Dark Pheonix's tragedy, and pheonix rises are amazing songs.
It really made the movie for me, Expecially The house fight, and wolvie against jean.

I liked the score, too!!! It made the action scenes a lot more epic!!!:o
