uMMM HELL-O what made it so great? was it better then the rouge/logan theme from X1?

did you get to hear any parts of the MAIN theme at all in those clips? (do i really want to watch them haha)

well. as for the rogue theme ...its no longer "a love theme" between them....its very sad/gothicy/tragedy.........and yes I like it better than the X1 one...

And no...you dont hear the main theme...but the pheonix music was pretty creepy...

and you can tell its really john powell because you notice how theres still his signature drums in the music

well it surely didnt have the effect on me as it had on you... IMO the logan rouge scene doesnt beat out the X1 music at all, but i really need to hear some samples.....we can keep checking john powels website if he has one, i think john ottman posted samples of F4 early on, maybe next month we can get a taste..... but the clips quality wasnt that good so i couldnt judge by just those clips

but hopefully it realy kicks ass, the main theme is the most important of course and we've yet to hear it

also im not the choir/big "drum" beats kinda Guy, i like the soft unchiory stuff, but i have listened to powells previous work on boune and faceoff, and something else, and ive liked it a good bit...so hopefully he can realize that hes working on a superhero film, then we shuld be really good to go...i ahve confidence! mroe confidence in him then i did ratner i guess tee hee

All I heard were Dark Phoenix's constant pantings. Well, I could hear the score a bit. I have to say, it was great. Really went well with the scene.

I need to watch it again.

I hope they use all of the New Pornographers Twin Cinema as the soundtrack. It wouldnt go with the movie at all, but damn its a good album.

I'd be happy if they used Lisa Gerrard's voice for the score. I'm a fan of hers, she's so great. Her voice reminds me of ancient, magic times, and is melancholic and misteryous at the same time. She was the one singing in the Gladiator soundtrack and other movies as well.

I just turned my speakers really loud and the score was really good. It sounds better than X2 (not as better as the score in Magneto reversing Dark Cerebro and Pyro breath-taking scene at the Drakes, though, but I'm pretty confident the rest of the score will be). I just loved the music in Jean/Logan scene. Perfecto.
