XBLA, the other side of the Xbox 360

So, talk here about what games you downloaded, what kind of games you plan on, games you recomend, and games you would love to see there.
Talk about anything that crosses you mind........related to XBLA that is.

It´s unanimous, YARIUS SUCKS ASS!!
But, as free games goes, we have to vey good Aegis Wings and the amazing Hexic, which cames with the hard drive.
Besides those two, the only game i have is Puzzle Quest, which is unbelievable.
Next stop, Speedball 2 and the upcoming Sensible Soccer, two of the most famous and most amazing games to grace the Commodore Amiga, and i´m a huge fan of the Amiga.

Well, I must say that I am very pleased with "Marble Blast Ultra" and "Roboblitz" as they are two extremely impressive entries into XBLA. "Marble Blast" is a wonderful platformer and Roboblitz has a very strong game design and graphics that surpass Doom 3 to back it.

I also like the smaller titles like "Heavy Weapon" and "Zuma" which are pretty addictive.

However, I completely suck at Geometry Wars and I can't even beat the demo.

I play Zume on the PC from time to time, because on the 360, i tried it, and it just plain sucks
Of course, if you don´t have it on the PC, i get it, Zuma is amazing.

I play Zume on the PC from time to time, because on the 360, i tried it, and it just plain sucks

Right Heir. A game as visually demanding as Zuma wish such incredibly deep gameplay can only be correctly realized on the PC platform.

I've played Zuma on both PC and XBLA...it's the exact same game...it's things like this that make me remember why I have Isildur's Heir blocked...

Anyway, I have all the arcade games downloaded (trials at least, but full versions for most of them)...there's only a handful that I dont enjoy...

You're right. Solitaire makes the Xbox360 grind to a halt, while the PC runs it at silky-smooth framerates. Even the story is better in the PC version of Solitaire.

You rotate the stick to rotate the frog. Seems pretty standard control to me.

But, IMO, Microsoft is not taking everything they could out of it.
MS should enter the emulation thingy too.

Saturn, Dreamcast, Commodore Amiga..., there are still plenty of old consoles to go with.

Yeah, but a few titles don´t make emulation.
There are already some like Sonic, Prince of Persia, some arcade games (they should go with a MAME type of thing).

The Wii has emulation, the PS3 has emulation (to be able to download PS1 titles is a great move), now is the 360 time to get a piece of the action.
And some old PC games wouldn´t hurt either....
Freeware and Shareware type of games are all fine and dandy, but there is room for much more.

Worms is another PC game thats on XBLA. Doesn't have all the weapons but still pretty fun. That last stage in Marble Blast was a *****. It took me so long to complete it.
