XBox 360 Wireless Receiver for PC Question

Hey, I've got a question for anyone who has the wireless receiver that lets you use your 360 controller as a PC gamepad. Does anyone know how to get games to recognize the triggers?

I bought Tomb Raider: Underworld on Steam and got TR: Legend free, so I tried playing that with my 360 controller and found that all the buttons were mappable except for the triggers. Kind of a problem since the triggers are some of the most important buttons on the controller. Instead of mapping the shooting and targeting controls to the triggers, it mapped them to the bumpers and refused to even recognize the triggers. Anyone know how to fix this?

Try downloading Xpadder. It lets you register the controller's buttons on it.

I don't know if it'd work but it's worth a shot.

Sweet, I'll try that. I haven't played TR: Legend since I made this thread. Maybe I'll be able to now.

On the plus side, it seems PC games are now being made specifically to cater to the wireless receiver. The 360 controller buttons are automatically recognized and mapped to their proper functions in TR: Underworld.

thats weird bc Ive played TR Underworld and the buttons are perfectly mapped with the360 controller, at least the wired one. I dont see why they'd be different fo the wireless version

Thank the Games For Windows initiative. One of the requirements for a game to be GFW certified is that it has to be compatible with the 360 controller. There are some exceptions though and that usually applies to games which dont cater themselves well to a gamepad. Still this is great especially when it comes to multiplatform titles. Being able to play them with the 360 controller and have it fully supported has been a big plus in deciding whether to get some titles for the PC or consoles

TR: Underworld works fine for me, too. It's TR: Legend I'm having button issues with.
