Xbox Exclusive: GTAIV DLC News

I don't know the extent of the truth of these statements, but I've been hearing rumors that the military (including the tanks and apache choppers) will be making a return with the DLC.

I hope so, but at the same time, that'll make life hell online if some little griefing kid gets ahold of the apache.

I dont think thatll be in this DLC, but possibly future DLC episodes.

They should allow the guys in the back of the chopper to shoot off rocket launchers. The chopper is way underpowered for multiplayer.

The taser in Saints Row 2 is epic. Watching people convulse wildly on the ground, thanks to the rag doll physics, is hillarious every single time.

It's probably more your system's fault then it was the dlc's. 360's aren't exactly the most sturdy thing, you know.

i was playing fallout 3 before i dl the dlc. it was working fine.

it only started freezing when i tried to play gta

If you have GTA IV installed to the HDD, uninstall it. If you don't have GTA IV installed to the HDD, install it. That will most likely fix the freezing problems.

I've played mine both with and without it installed by the way, and havent had a single freeze.

Been playing TLAD for about 3 days now and I must say its a lot of fun ... well worth the price (£13.99uk)

I think anyone who got bored with GTA4 by the end of the story mode may find this just more of the same drive and shoot ... but for me the story and characters are fresh enough to make the ride worth while.

A little off topic, but I heard a rumor awhile ago that said Metal Gear might come to X-box, has anyone else heard that rumor? They had an exclusive deal with Playstation, but broke that deal to launch a itouch game.

Does anyone else think that Johnny is lame? Especially compared to Niko?

Johnny fits the "Try-too-hard-to-be-tough" kinda guy to me, like Tommy and CJ did (they ***** out when challenged in cutscenes, bow down to authority too easily- at least compared to the others, etc.). Niko and Claude, in my opinion, were the only two real hard-asses in the GTA franchise's main games (I never played any of the PSP games).

I'm about half way through TLAD and at the moment Johnny seems a bit ... well, LOST if I'm honest. He needs to find a direction and go for it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

As far as I know, just DLC, especially considering the fact that you must have the original game to play it (which may make matters hard if the expansion is on a disk, unless you just download it off of the disk as well, which would cost Microsoft more money).

You can buy a box with a The Lost and Damned DLC card at GameStop, which is how I bought mine. It doesn't give you Microsoft Points, it just gives you a code to input, and you start the download immediately.

If you buy the box that I got from GameStop, it comes with a free 48-hour trial, which gives you 47 hours more than you need to download it.

The problem is, unless you extend your membership, you'll proably miss out on what made The Lost and Damned so much fun: the new multiplayer modes (I don't care much for the story).

No, Metal Gear Solid 4 is not coming to the Xbox 360. Frankly it's a little too late to do that IMO.

Metal Gear Solid Touch is an original game that has no bearing on the status of the exclusivity of Metal Gear Solid 4.
