XBox Live - Page Unavailable

I have been trying to sign up for XBox Live for the past 30 minutes and every time I submit the information I am taken to a page unavailable message. Anyone else having this problem?

What sucks even more is that when I create a tag that is not taken, submit the information and get this message, when I try to select that same tag I am then told it is taken. So it seems like it recognizes the creation but does not let you complete it.

Extremely frustrated right now and wanted to see what everyone else has experienced.

According to Kotaku, XBL is down right now.

Not sure when it's due to come back up.

If its xbox.com it tends to take them awhile to fix it. I think they're whole system went down or something.

I went to XBoxlive.com and tried it a few times since they told me it is up and running. I cleared my cache and everything and still get it. Is there another way to do it?

No ... when I enter an email address it tells me that it does not match up with Windows Media Center. I never even used Windows Media Center.

I figured a way around it. XBoxLive was still not working for me and I noticed that it says it also works with a Windows Live ID. So I signed up for one of them and went through the process that way.... all set up now!
