Sequels Xmen 4 set in the future?

i was just thinking about it, FOX are leaving it forever to make an XMEN 4 to the point where no one will care by the time wolverin 2 and first class come out

so i wouldnt be suprised if FOX set Xmen 4 in the future (obviously not calling it xmen 4) and have it about future mutants like bishop and FOX's favorite much older wolverine, as thats reason enough for FOX to make it. they wouldnt care about storm or rogue or any of the others

doing it in future story, you could have it explained what happened after the last stand just to plz the fans

I posted this somewhere around here, but I think if an X-Men sequel is going to be made past The Last Stand, it might as well be animated, because it doesn't look like it'll be made anytime soon, and the actors certainly aren't going to look the part if Fox doesn't get things going. I'm not saying make it a cartoon (though Hellboy did have a few movies that kept the franchise alive in between movies), especially since CGI movies aren't completely unheard of. At least with that route, we could get all the characters we love, the animators can make them look as if the cameras just stopped rolling on X3, and the action scenes can be ten times bigger than they could've been in a live-action version. Plus, the actors would probably prefer going in a recording booth for a several hours, than spending months on-set. I know Jackman and Stewart are at least used to spending time in the recording booth for the various video games they've voiced.

They should have invested in X4 instead of all the spin-offs...maybe the First Class prequel, but Wolverine really wasn't needed...

If Fox's rights to x-men expires after the wolverine sequel comes out then an X4 may not happen. I can think of some interesting things they could do with a fourth film, but I would still rather see a reboot happen instead. I wish X-Men was getting rebooted now like Spider-Man.
