Yahoo Chat Scam

for anyone who goes to Yahoo chat often (or even occasionally) have you ever noticed anyone from some country youve never heard of telling you that theyre either 1) in slavery or 2) live in a country where their religion is outlawed and want money and a way to get passports to get to america or cannada? they say that when they make money, they'll wire you some money for helping them out. ive had several of these, one person on the same account claimed the first time that he was in one country, the next time i got an IM from him he was (supposedly) in ANOTHER country. has anyone else encountered people like this on Yahoo or any other chat room?

yah. ive heard stories from some of the Yahoo regulars about their credit cards having every penny taken out and simultaneously froze.
