I'm all for husbands putting spoiled unreasonable Wifes in their place as long as they don't beat them up. I'm talking pushing her if she pushes first. Can't say the same about punches though. But really the right thing to do would be just to say the relationship is over and leave it at that.

Sorry this is off topic but I was born in the UAE and spent the first few years of my childhood there. I remember the police would lash criminals after Friday prayers (the equivalent of Sunday Mass) in front of the mosque.
