I never really bothered with Marvin's essays, misslane's are popular and somewhat entertaining.

I saw LEGO Batman tonight. It was awesome . There's a lot more Bat related themes in it than you'd think. Also a lot of cool references. It's just a great Batman story in general.

I saw someone else say, accurately, that it is bittersweet to know Lego Batman is the best thing we have gotten out of DC since 2012. But hey, we are almost certainly getting a sequel to it too.

I'll be honest. I don't read any of missmarvin's posts anymore (did I ever? She just goes on and on...) but she gets an A for effort.

Not just that, but there's also a parallel between those who insisted BvS would win big and those who insisted Trump had no chance of winning. Anyone who claimed to see the disaster incoming was mocked by the DCEU fanboys and the Establishment Democrats in the most condescending way possible.

Then when the "unexpected" came true, instead of looking internally they lashed out at everyone that tried pointing out warning signs throughout the whole year. Unfortunately I was in both groups, so overall not a good year for me.

I might do some reading there sometime to see what the fuss was about. Unlike BvS fans, I tend to appreciate the good reviews.
