Can't wait for the reviews. More excited for that than the movie.

This is chilling. Other than Cyborg and his completely spurious effects work, the clip is quality.

LOL at that bat-landing, you may as well have kept the wires visible.

The Elfman theme is not terrible in that scene but it just feels wasted. It would have meant something more if we heard that theme return in a BATMAN movie. Especially one of quality. Ezra is doing his thing, good on him with the faces (even though I'm not sure why he's all weirded out by Cyborg?). I still hate the end of this scene. It's simply NOT funny.

Cyborg looks terrible and Ray Fisher is awful so far.

Simmons is being awesome not doing anything. I think he's wasted in this movie and a part of me thinks it may be the only time we ever see him in the role. Shame.

Batmans voice sounds deeper. Poor Gal is trying.

This movie looks stupid. LOL that's what i take from that clip.

Also wanted to say that Zimmer's music for Batman is better than Elfman. Yeah, bring it.

I have to concur on the Elfman theme feeling kinda cheap there. The orchestration of it just seems unimpressive compared to the originals. Even the use of choirs there sound more generic Hollywood than Elfman there. And it just feels so random that Batfleck all of a sudden has that theme.

As far as the Bat-landing, I don't think it's wires, I think it's a CGI Batman that turns into a live action Batfleck for the landing. Snyder does that type of thing all the time.

I definitely think the Elfman score will shape the tone of the movie in a big way, so I'm curious to see how it plays out in full context. It's easy to imagine the joke at the end with Ezra falling flat if Junkie was doing his version of the Zimmer sound for the movie. The light and whimsical cue for Elfman there makes it feel more intentional.

The movie still feels like a weird AF Frankenstein's monster to me from these clips. Don't mean to be a grump about the Elfman theme- I'm still excited and curious to hear how it's implemented throughout the film, but a big part of me feels like Whedon encouraged it as a means of sprinkling nostalgia dust over the movie to get the fanboys and excited and forget about how much they disliked BvS. It's a smart tactic, but I'm not going to give the movie a free pass just for that, and I especially dislike the feeling of being blatantly pandered to with glorified fan fiction.

tl;dr my guard is still up when it comes to this film, but I will gladly admit it if it ends up working for me.

This is really damn good. This is the batman I always wanted to see. A Batman who inspires. It has crumbs of Batman's interactions with John Blake to it. But better since it's the Flash and not some half baked Robin.

All the clips released before the movie make me think this will be Spider-Man 3 again.

I have to agree. I dunno, everyone looked...stiff, both in terms of their acting and their physical movements. Batman looks like a brick, Flash can't turn his head (go figure, 1989 Bats theme and he's moving like Mike Keaton), and Cyborg is walking with this weird swagger.

Lol Tacit, either my sarcasm detector is broken or you're sarcasm skills are at ninja-level.

What's goiinggg ooonnnnn

That clip was fine. No real complaints. But I'm curious about Flash's fears, if that type of humor will land with audiences or will it be crickets. I guess it depends on whether people find Barry funny leading up to that scene and if his weird phobias are set up in a way that's hilarious.

There are moments that feel like it could be a fun Avengers-esque movie. We'll see if they can pull it off. It would be pretty neat if this was a surprise blast, just with terrible marketing and the usual third act problems. A bad edit can make something decent look like utter trash so this should be an interesting couple of weeks.

From all the trailers I've found this Flash annoying. He could be potentially insufferable, altough I did enjoy one of his quips. But he has phobias? I admit I haven't read Flash comics since the New 52 relaunch but that doesn't sound like Barry...

It sounds like something they threw in there to get laughs.

It's essentially Barrino.

Barry in name only.

@Tacit, okay fair enough.

I didn't mind the Batman/Flash clip. Characterization is fine. Though I still think the robo-Batvoice sounds silly and unnecessary. I still prefer (most instances) of the Bale-growl any day over that computery sounding thing.

Batman is also shot very strangely in that clip too. He just looks strange. Oh and i will always think he sounds ridiculous. I love the growl but this will always feel lazy and overdone to me. I think Arrow does the voice modulator better. Batman sounding more like a robot than Cyborg is funny.

The perfect voice modulation is in Telltale's Batman game series. All it does is make Bruce's voice lower. It gives him this authoritative baritone without sounding artificial.

I saw two more clips that I hated lol.

Yeah I posted the six clips above. The Wonder Woman scene is one of them. And the other that I didn't care for (hate is too strong of a word) was the clip of the gang where Cyborg takes over from Alfred.

Everything about the Wonder Woman scene sucks. Hammy acting, dialogue, slow motion, editing towards the end of the clip. Way too hammy for my taste.

The Steppenwolf clip with the League just feels overloaded with CGI and cheese. I hate Batman's voice and dumb founded "Gotham harbour!..". Everything is so messy to look at.

I saw a clip of Martha talking to Lois about the farm being repossessed by the bank or something.

So exciting!
