Amazingly, I think this is quite a good idea. Last year, there was a Doctor Who DVD released that animated some of the missing episodes from the 60s, using the orginal soundtracks, and they worked extremely well.

that is a good idea. there is an anime graphic novel of the trilogy that came out more than a few years ago. different artists illustrated them.

Ten years? I stopped like9 years ago. Sure, I saw the Star Wars movies, and the Matrix movies, and the X-Men movies, and Batman Begins and Superman Returns and Sin City and the Spider Man movies and... okay I haven't stopped completely but I can months without watching an entire movie. I may have to go back on that though, 2007 and 2008 movies have my intrest peaked. Indy 4, Transformers, Sin City 2, Sin City 3, Inglorious Bastards, Interstellar, Spiderman 3, The new Batman and Superman movies...

what purpose does any movie serve? it's all just entertainment, is all.

i personally think it'd be a very cool idea. i'd love to see the action scenes updated closer to what we saw in those clone wars cartoons.

Yes, they are; in fact, there's also a Stormtrooper maquette in that style, too, IIRC.

Coincidently, a new Ghostbuster's C.G.I. movie is being rumored. If this movie is at all successful it could lead to the next three Star Wars films quicker than we think.

I do not like the cartoonish c.g.i. movies, ala Shrek or Polar Express. I prefer realistic c.g.i. similar to Yado an the prequels.
