...The guy who always knows more about (insert band name here) than you and acts like it's a ****ing competition. You know, these elitist music *******s. Like Radiohead is one day going to call your house and say; "Hey Bob, this is Thom Yorke of Radiohead. Listen, word on the street is that you know more about us than anyone else and that you **** on people who know less than you. How would you like a million dollars and to **** Nicole Kidman? You can have both if you tell me what time every member of the band last took a ****." People who live out their fantasies by becoming spiteful, parasitic fans are pathetic. What a complete waste of brainspace.

Who do you hate?

I hate you ...but only because I secretly love you :o

Who do you hate?

Who the hell acts like that?

...People in the gym who are scrawny (or not) who think they are the *****. I saw three guys in there on Sunday. One rather chubby, one who is competiting this summer (Not that he is anyone's competition...not symmetric or shredded enough to even consider it), and one who is just plain small. All training completely wrong, with bad form and all. Flexing and lifting up their shirts in front of the mirror. I don't notice them act like this when everyone else is around. But I guess when the place only has two other folks training you can get away with it.

I'm a semi-pro drummer (big gigs, no money :P) and the same thing is said of musicians in general, you can't move for guys trying to be your mentor or something because they've been playing that little bit longer than you. i hate it.

Satan, what a jerk.

I also heartily dislike people who feel the burden of proof falls on YOU when they present whacky, unfounded theories. Good thing there aren't many people like that around here.

Wow, you're like the exact same person I described above, except with 'working out'.

I hate people who say they are "friends" but completely abandon you and forget you about after high school.

High School doesn't mean **** after you graduate it.

Don't hate, people. LOVE. You can despise though. Despising is okay. And you know who I despise?

Film snobs who put down reknowned films and directors that are well known in order to be iconoclastic, while championing obscure foreign directors who produce pretentious tripe that is far worse than the stuff they put down.

I like Fritz Lang's non-American work as much as the next guy(Metropolis looks AMAZING, especially for its time), but his American work is frequently subpar. I'll take Vertigo over the Woman in the Window in a SECOND.

I've met tons of people like that. My old roommates new roommate, at a party last weekend, told me how much he hated this reasonably hot girl there. When I asked why, he said: "Cause she says she likes Tool, but I asked her some stuff and she doesn't know **** about Tool."

I know who you're talking about.
Starts with a C and ends with an S

We must find other versions of this person then.

I'm pretty sure I know who you're referring to. But I won't name names.

Well, not necessarily. He's pretty bad for it, but at least he likes Vertigo. However, he did say Shawshank Redemption was subpar and then recommend some foreign films, so he counts.

Yeah, he certainly fits the bill, but it was mostly inspired by a book of film criticism I've been reading.

Yeah, dissing Shawshank was low. And then he referred to everything Scorcese did as terrible.
