Deadpool You know you want Deadpool at home!

I've loved this movie so much, I've already preordered the Blu-ray Steelbook available in my country today.

As far as I know it should be due for release around June.

FOX has already confirmed that a DVD, Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray for the US, and several countries (Zavvi in the UK) have already announced limited Steelbook editions.

So let's talk about the future home video relase.

- Tim Miller and Ryan Reynolds have already confirmed that the releases will include plenty of alternate takes and deleted scenes

- I think I remember them talking about a gag reel, as well

- In THIS INTERVIEW (for everyone who hasn't seen the film yet... attention, SPOILERS!!) Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick talk about having recorded an audio commentary for the release in New York (I hope there will be multiple ones - I'm quite interested about what Tim Miller has to say about the journey to make his feature film directing debut)

Additionally, and I think I speak for everyone here, I hope they will include whatever material they produced and created for the marketing campaign, and I'd love if they have filmed some new stuff for the release - maybe animated menus with Deadpool himself. Obviously I also hope we'll see an extensive making-of documentary about the character's history, the lenghty development phase and ultimately pre-production, production and post-production.

Is the steelbook going to be available in the U.S.? I love Steelbooks and I'd love to have one for Deadpool. I'm pretty sure they'll go all out on the Blu Ray. It'll be crafted with love just like the film.

They've recorded two audio commentaries in February (one with Tim Miller & Rob Liefeld, the other with Ryan Reynolds & the writers), and talked about plenty of deleted scenes and alternate takes being featured. I hope they go all out with the release, and don't plan on double dipping.

Trouble is because of the popularity and its appeal they may be tempted down the double dip road. I hope there is a steelbook version, I love a good steelbook for certain films and this is certainly one of those films for me.
