Last ordinary poll.
And I want to say something to the people in the poll:
Do your best! Be good! Behave!
Treat your fans with respect, but also journalists and photographers. Don't be difficult to interview unless you have become so big that it doesn't matter anymore.
Don't play the same type of character all the time. Granted, you can play a troubled kid a couple of times but don't build your whole career on that (like the late Brad Renfro). More lightweight stuff is needed from time to time. It's extremely important that you switch between genres such as comedy, drama, thriller, action, war, adventure, horror, western etc. You don't need to do all of them, but try as many as possible.
If you're not a pretty boy or a beautiful girl, you need a lot of talent. It's a bonus, though, if your looks also works in your favor.
To the people here at the forum: There's a difference between those who WILL become big and those who COULD. The latter people have a lot of potential, some of them are just as good as the former, but in most cases they can't keep up with how things function in Hollywood and after some years they tend to be overlooked when the studios have found a new golden boy/girl a.k.a. flavor of the month.
