Shailene Woodley didn't make it but Ansel Elgort did. Interesting!

Because of the talk surrounding Fantastic Four, you believe Miles Teller and Michael B Jordan are more promising than Wasikowska, Seyfried, Fanning sisters, Radcliffe, Moretz, Hoult, Butterfield and even Efron. Could be some ironic voting there :cwink:

Here are the finals. Don't forget it's possible to vote for more than one!

This time, the names I vote for are

Ellen P.
Ezra M.
Kodi S-M.
Emma S.
Jennifer L.
Emma W.
Logan L.
Saoirse R.
Emmy R.

Ezra Miller - Can actually act, has steady roles coming in even without the upcoming Flash film.
Emma Stone - She's secured her career I think despite the awfulness of the Amazing Spider-man franchise. People lover her and she's start to get recognition as a leading lady.
JLaw - Destined to become the next Meryl Streep. Great actress, career can probably survive anything.
Evan Rachel Wood - Wood has been making great movies. She just needs to make a move to a big-budget blockbuster or try and go for an Oscar. Either way she's got talent and people recognize it.
Elisabeth Olsen - Makes wise career decisions. She went big budget this year and is going to be in Avengers next year. Her role in the Avengers franchise ensures she'll still be in movies in 2020. She also is pretty talented.
Miles Teller - Destined for greatness even if the Fantastic Four movie bombs. Mainly because he can actually act and Whiplash was heavily acclaimed this year. As long as he keeps making stuff like The Spectacular Now and Whiplash he'll be around for a while even though he probably won't do blockbusters for a while after the Fantastic Four bombs.
Saorise Ronan - Has been around forever and is one of the youngest actresses to ever be nominated for an Academy Award. She's pretty talented too. She needs to make a move to a successful big budget movie though if she wants to get a brand started.
Emmy Rossum - Underrated. Shameless is currently keeping her career afloat, she needs to make a try doing big budget comedies though which I expect her to get cast in once Shameless is over.
Michael B. Jordan - Him, Boseman, and Boyega are destined to be the next big African-American movie stars. He hasn't been making the wisest career moves with That Awkward Moment and The Fantastic Four but he's pretty talented and the need for talented African-American actors in Hollywood is high so he'll probably always be gettin roles.

I can see quite a few on that list that will likely have long and relatively successful careers, but only a couple that will be high profile stars.

Emma Stone- Virtually everyone loves her, and loves working with her. She's got natural comedic timing and loads of charisma. She's already proven herself but is now branching out and showing range and capping it off by proving she can hold her own in a major Broadway theater production. It seems actors and directors love working with her.

Jennifer Lawrence- A lovable and adorable girl with a goofball personality and huge natural acting talent (3 Academy Award nominations and 1 win by her mid 20's isn't an accident). Like Emma, directors and costars like working with her which is a definite plus when looking at longevity in Hollywood.

The above 2 are already huge and in demand and that doesn't look to change in the foreseeable future.

I also voted for Elizabeth Olson and Juno Temple, both have awesome potential. I wanted to put down Saoirse Ronan too, she has incredible talent, but doesn't seem to be interested in stardom and/or seems to be bad a picking projects lately.

Yeah, Ronan seems to like doing more independent films. I think she's just really picky with scripts.

Not sure why she was in the Host though...

Whenever I see this thread, I wish it was about up and coming actors who you think have a promising future, not already A-list stars who you think will continue to be A-list stars...but I guess a thread about little known actors wouldn't exactly be the hottest thread on the forum.

Woodley got booted over that Ansel kid. I don't think he's going anywhere.

I've had tons of up and coming actors in previous polls. The problem is that they don't get any votes. You guys simply don't know who they are.
The final list is also quite strange. Names that are as close to being A-list as it can possible get, like Moretz or Efron (along with some others) just didn't make it this far.

I hear that. I may see an unknown actor is some Horror movie that I like, and someone else may see an unknown actor in a romantic comedy that they like, but one vote isn't going to get you into round 2 of a vote.
