for those who are planing on having a family, what type of family would you want?

a family that gathers arround a table and talk about each other's day? a family that does family activities together? for you hopeful fathers out there, do you plan on teaching your kids sports or see yourself coaching a little leagues team? comic book collecting? video games? what? same goes for you females out there.

I don't want to have a family, but if I did, I would want to be a single father who works all the time. I want the kid to have a hispanic mother, who they would live with, so the kid would know spanish. I wouldn't force my kid to do the sports thing unless it's what they showed interest in it, but i would want them to get into comic books because it would help them learn to read. and who knows, they might take an interest in writing or drawing. I don't want my family to be happy. Weird, but i want to help some of the problems he/she may have.

I want an asian wife
So I can have a super baby

A want a family like those funny TV sitcoms. The sarcastic parents, the kids that get into wacky situations, Bucker the Dog.

i don't want a family.
a live in boyfriend is fine.
mayyyybe a husband.
but he's going to have to damn cool and be okay with no babies in the future.

Yeah, supporting a family is money out of MY pocket. What a complete waste.

YEAH!!!
stupid babies!
always wanting to eat and wear clean clothes!
that **** don't grow on trees! don't they know that!?!?

and it gets worse. those babies don't stay cute and innocent. they eventually grow into yet another crummy adult.

I will try and bring up my children with the utmost dissipline and respect so when they reach the age that they know what they would like, they ask for something once in a while without getting spoiled. And my son had better be a damn good soccer player!

Marraige is for homos.
oooOOOO!
that was a double burn!
since you called him a homo AND homos CAN'T get married!
well done sir.
*shakes your hand*

ewww! what is this all over your palms!?! lotion!? it's sticky.

I intend to get married, divorce is too expensive these days, and 50% of all marriages end in divorce anyways. So, I'm not going to take the risk. Family wise though, maybe I'll do a "Madonna" and adopt a couple of kids from Malawi :word:

A happy family

I like the thought of gathering together for meals and eating them at the table... but Hubby wants to watch T.V. while he eats.

I like the thought of having a "games" night where you play scrabble, cards, whatever... but Hubby gets bored by board games.

So I just try my best to work around Hubby's needs while keeping my little Jabberwock happy.

I wanted kids until my aunts spawned, and after taking care of the little darlings I think me and my wife are going to be entirely content to grow old togeher without any kids in the picture.

I cant help but point out that I know a lot of people that said they dont want kids in the past but later in life it happened and they say its the greatest thing. I'm not a parent myself so I cant back this up, however the fact that they all go on and on about how having kids has made them so happy makes me wonder, there is a real sense of pride when it comes to children. Any parents out there in Hype land that can confirm this?

jabberwock?

My son, with the jaws that bite and the claws that snatch... he's 2 now.

He's my little love, my darling. I don't regret any of the sacrifices we have to make because of him. He's actually a very good boy (except for the 2 problems that have caused his nickname)

If I were to have a family: I'd expose them to different cultures and experiences. I'd want my children to be involved in the community via volunteering, etc. I'd attempt to nurture any skills and/or interest I see them developing, without being pushy.
There's more but that's the gist of it.

if i had a family...i'd treat them the same way my parents treated me....daily beatings and icecream for breakfast:up:

it's the parenting guide of the smart man

I want a family as comical as the Bundy's, but as the father, they would actually love me.
