Now this is something i have thought about..for a while. After i made the poll about cartoons in the 90's..why not the 1980`s?Not to let those who saw these cartoons feel left out,i made a poll for them. Now like the 90's,there were many cartoons..but after doing some research,i feel these were the top cartoons of the decade.Technically,in order to remember these cartoons you would have to be part of Generation X,or the older part of Generation Y.I found this poll harder to make than the 90's cartoon poll.

* Schoolhouse Rock was mainly shown in the 1970's,but it influenced children through out the 1980's and even the early 1990's.

** Many cartoons began in the 1980's,but these ended in the early 1990's.

*** Superfriends had many seasons, including cartoon title changes.Like Challenge Of The Superfriends,The Superfriends Power Hour, etc. But most people remember the cartoon by it's original title.

Voltron, one of my favorite cartoons.

I was born in the late 80s, and thus I'm from the 90s era cartoons, but the cartoons that I watched from the 80s were:

- A Pup Named Scooby Doo
- Alvin and the Chipmunks
- Beetlejuice
- Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
- Dennis the Menace
- Duck Tales
- Garfield
- Inspector Gadget (even had the Inspector Gadget computer-coloring book)
- Muppet Babies
- TMNT
- The Smurfs

you can't go wrong with the Ruby Spears Superman cartoon either

I voted for Dennis the menace, but Beetlejuice (from the movie) is my favourite character, i never watched the Cartoon.
