Your Favorite Comic Book Movie

I.) Iron Man: This by far had the most interesting arc for the hero.
II.) Batman Begins: The "vastness" of Batman's origin along with the inclusion of Scarecrow give it high mark.
III.) Hellboy: The romantic subplot was actually quite entertaining.
IV.) Batman Returns: I loved incarnations of Catwoman and Penguin in this movie. Gotham's look was also very interesting and quite unique.

I didn't know so many people thought the same as me! My favorites are Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins as well. I also really liked Iron Man, that's probably tied with those others. And a little down the road are Fantastic 4 and Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer.

keep in mind favorite doesn't mean better than other, it just means I enjoyed it more:

1.) IronMan (my favorite and best)
2.) Spider-Man 2 (2nd favorite and 2nd best)
3.) Spider-Man (arguably some films were better, but I enjoyed it tremendously)
4.) X2: X-men united (best of the X-men franchise)
5.) Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (yes it had flaws, the director was a poor choice, Alba is an annoyance at times although not as much as Katie Holmes in Batman, but still for all it's weaknesses, they got the heart of the characters and the spirit of the comics)

TOP FIVE:

1. Batman Begins: This is how they should be done People! the "Citizen Kane' of Superhero movie (and it just happens to have my favorite hero in it). It' explains the why, when and where of our hero more than any origin mvoie and still have time for some bad as* action! with one of the best movie twist of all time!

2. Spiderman 2: Capture the spirit and essences of the comic and peter's woes of dealing with power and respopnsibilties and destiny.

3.Superman the Movie: The reigning champ for 24 years unlit Spidey 2 came along. This was 'Batman Begins' back n the day (and As Chris nolan said, his inspiration for how he want BB to be structured). Best sueprhero Theme ever!

4 IRONMAN: New kid on the block comes out swinging for the fence...and clears teh ball park. Great movie but really only on the strenght of RDjr. acting more than anything else.

5. Batman (1989) Not exactly flawless and I didn't care for the Joker killing the Waynes, but it wipe away 20 years of the only live action Batman being the campy 60s show.

PLus Jack Nicholson as the Joker (perfect) and Michael Keaton suprising EVERYONE as a great BAtman (not so much great as Bruce Wayne).

Yes but have you seen the Richard Donner cut of "Superman 2"? blows the original cut away.

Where's the love for "Cemetery Man", "Ichi The Killer", "Riki-Oh", "Heavy Metal", "Flash Gordon", "Men in Black", "Oldboy", "Dick Tracy", "Akira" and "Ghost in The Shell 1 & 2"?
