I figured since its the holidays let's try to lighten the doom and gloom and instead lets talk about our favorite moments from the movie because one unanimous thing about the film is that it has no shortage on geekout moments. Whether you liked the movie or weren't too hot on it, what moments did make you smile?

this is like the spin off of the excitement forum lol

i suppose it's a spoiler forum?

I loved Flash so much!

"god I hope this is the east" was a crack up, reminds me of myself, and the pay off at the credit scene with Sup lol

and him freaking out at the first battle, saving WW, his nervousness trying to resurrect Sup, and first cave visit

So much awesomeness!!!!! He needs his own movie!

Spoilers allowed guys. Its been a week lol

ah there was so many moments that made the comic geek in me happy:

- beginning scene w/ batman catching the thug and parademon.

- the gordon rooftop meeting with batman, flash, wonder woman and cyborg

- then the subsequent underground tunnel battle - the moment when flash taps the sword to wonder woman as she's falling down the shaft. all in slo-mo and spinning all around. that was the highlight for me.

- i liked all the character moments with cyborg as well - hopefully the blu-ray will restore more backstory for him - i thought his character had the biggest arc and most pathos in the movie.

- following on the above, the scene when diana tries to recruit victor into the team. what she says to him about how she too is trying to work on opening up to the world - that was really good. that was the heart of the movie there for me.

my favorite shot in any super hero film was in this film

the end of the film shot of the entire team standing together was one of the most iconic shots i have ever seen in a super hero film followed by an even more epic behind shot of the league with batman/supes capes flapping in the wind:hmr:

Yep.

Supes fighting the league

Aquaman scene with the lasso of truth

crap, I missed that.

I think most of the movie is my favorite part.

I couldn't pick. I'm going to see it tomorrow for a second time. I hope it's more crowded.

The opening cell phone footage of Superman. I kind of wish they showed more recorded archives of Superman saving the day throughout the film, making his presence even more felt, while they gave us the entire world mourning for Superman. I did like how all of that played out. It was a surprise to see Superman at the very beginning despite thinking he'd be absent until the beginning. I think it would have been interesting to see some more old footage of Superman flying or using some of his powers from cell phone or news footage, just for the sense of realism.

The rooftop scene in Gotham, with Batman fighting a parademon. You could tell this was all shot from Snyder.

The main titles introduction.

Wonder Woman's entrance.

Barry Allen's drawing over the prisoner's face. Marc McClure's cameo.

Cyborg's first scene. Cyborg and Diana's meeting.

Steppenwolf Themyscira battle.

Atlantis battle. Seriously awesome. Mera's scene...despite the air bubble.

Barry meeting Diana.

Bruce and Alfred conversation about Superman.

Jim Gordon scene.

Flash slow-motion tunnel scene. Aquaman uniting with Justice League.

The Justice League entering the Bat cave.

Cyborg interactions with the league.

One of my most favorite scenes in the film perhaps:
The Justice League entering scoutship with the Hans Zimmer score. Flash super speed electrical charge.

Superman's return and the fight. Flash and Superman eye contact. Flat-out hilarious. Superman kicking Batman's ass.

Lois and Martha reunion.

Final battle. Superman's comeback and fighting Steppenwolf. Superman and Batman conversation. Flash saving civilians while Superman saves a whole apartment.

Superman's heat vision. The red and blue. The slightly awkward moment where Superman and Cyborg laugh. My favorite part WAS NOT Diana's "I work with children" line.

The league all in one shot. It may not have been the greatest shot though. That blurriness. I did like the trinity shot though.

Seriously...as if she's annoyed by them? Oh don't get me started on that line. Back to favorite parts.

Bruce and Clark scene at the end. This film managed to take the famous Batman and Superman friendship a step further, unlike BvS was able to do, but should have done.

The epilogue scene featuring the heroes in their stylistic exits. Aquaman in particular. Batman...Cyborg's upgrade...Flash super speed is damn cool...Wonder Woman's exit talking to children was alright. And of course the last one with Clark ripping the shirt open. It was great, however, I wish we could have seen him flying through Metropolis at normal fast speed. Kind of a flat closing but not terrible.

And I loved both the after-credits scenes.

Seriously, how do these scenes make the movie bad? Despite some of the cheesy one-liners, this is a DC comic come to life.

the shirt rip!

and I like the clip with hans score for the ending haha

Even though I didn't like the movie, there are individual moments I liked:

Batman using the goon as bait
Amazons vs. Steppenwolf
The Atlantis segment
Superman/Flash eye contact
Second post credit sequence

Batman with Parademon scene
Batman Arthur Scene
Superman vs league even tho he has fake lip syndrome
Flash SUperman stare scene
Aquaman Truth Scene
Every WW scene
First ancient battle vs Steppenwolf

The end credits. :o

Aww crap you beat me. I was trying to beat THOSE GUYS before the obvious. Great minds..... I figure.

Where to start....
*Opening with Batman luring & fighting off the Parademon using a burglar
*Wonder Woman vs armed terrorists
*Superman vs the League
* Tunnel battle but specifically Flash assisting WW with acquiring her sword (bonus: humorous landing on top of Diana moment)
* Both end credit scenes
* Lois/Clark reunion (bring in the big.....)
* Clark reunion with his Mom
* Steppenwolf vs the Amazons
* Supes & Flash SAVING familes (dedicated to the MoS 3rd act gripers)
* Shot of the entire League after final battle

The Atlantis battle would've made it, if it was longer. Felt it flew by too quick, but dug what little I did see.

I'll leave it at that. Obviously plenty of crowd pleasing moments whether you're a comic book fan, general audience member, or other type......

Supes fighting the league

Aquaman scene with the lasso of truth

Loved those scenes.

I also really appreciated Elfman's musical homages integrated into his score (barely audible in the film due to the sound mix), but I loved how he used Williams' theme in the first scene. Geeked out at all the Batman theme references.

Elfman's score was one of my favorite parts of the film. It's really grown on me after multiple plays.

Glad you liked it, I remember you were excited for it in the score forum :yay:

- WW blocking the hailstorm of bullets to save all those people in the bank
- Pet Sematary-Supes vs the League (best part was when Supes noticed Flash, that was a total "holy crap!" moment that I was totally not expecting)
- the blink-and-you-miss-it generic GL cameo
- mid-credits with Flash and Supes
- end-credits with Deathstroke (I'll admit I initially thought the character was Deadpool before I remembered I was watching a DC movie :o )
- JL group shot from the front AND the back, with Supes' cape billowing in the wind

Most of what was obviously Snyder's work, in general. Whedon's work reminded me of why I don't like his movies.

I liked All of Steppenwolf's scenes and dialogues. :oldrazz:

"Praise the Unity"

Superman vs JL
Cyborg and WW
Cyborg and Flash grave robbing

The best part of the movie were end scenes with narration by Amy Adams.
