My favorite moment in the film was when we first see the new batmobile in action, this one was easily my favorite of all the batmobiles to date. Severely underused in the movie, wish it would have had quite a bit more screentime.

The Batman/Superman tussle. For me it exemplified a moment when the movie actually hit on all cylinders. Everything about it was humming - from the score to the fight choreography to the intensity. Bruce was a bad, bad man in that moment. A "hunter" as he mentioned to Alfred.

The first shot of Batman in the armor suit staring up into the sky then turning away - just so cool

Batman knightmare action scene was one cut which made it amazing. Gotta appreciate this when so many movies are doing the fast cuts jason bourne thing

Cavill's facial expressions when he hears that his mother has been kidnapped - haunting

Batman telling Superman 'you're not brave, only men are' and Superman proving him wrong shortly afterwards

I posted this in another thread, but I'll repeat myself

There's a little moment that I missed on my first viewing, when they're all fighting doomsday, he throws WW an Superman away and then turns around and looks at Batman, Batman makes a Oh **** I'm outta here face and then flies away :hehe: I didn't notice until yesterday

    Freaking hilarious !

When I reviewed it on my podcast that was a moment I felt the need to single out.

I know there is nothing but good feelings out there for Timm's stuff but I loved that this thing didn't have any BS like Batman flipping Supes/Kalibak or trying to choke out Darksied. Here, it's clear that in direct confrontation with beings that can shatter steel with their pinkies that Bats is out matched.

Can't say that I loved the movie as a whole but there were to fantastic moments for me

    * The Batman warehouse fight

    * The opening Battle of Metropolis fight from Bruce Wayne's point of view.
I was one of the many people who had a violently negative reaction to that fight in MoS but in this movie from Bruce's point of view it humanises and grounds the scene and makes it totally terrifying and haunting.

You don't need any more set up to show Batman's motivation for wanting to fight Superman. If only they could have come up with an equally powerful motivation of why Superman would want to fight Batman beyond the played out damsel in distress.

    Three words: the warehouse fight.

    Incredible.

Yeah the warehouse fight is probably my favourite Batman scene across all the movies. His fighting style is utterly brutal.

I really enjoyed Irons as Alfred, too. Great casting choice.

Ovech-king is also on point. That Luthor scene with the hard candy was hilarious.

Obviously the Warehouse scene, especially after learning the circumstances. But my personal favorite, just from a visual standpoint, was Superman floating in space after getting hit with the nuke. Just a beautiful call back to DKR, it was great to see.

Brutal, methodical, effective. The second part of one move is the first part of another. Thugs go down like dominoes. One guy gets thwapped and goes down the hole in the floor like a cueball. We're even treated to the "grappler punch." The cherry on top: Batman bursts through the wall, and then delivers that great line from TDKR: "I believe you."

Best Batman fight scene across all the movies. IMO, also the single best fight in a CBM that does not involve superpowers. Also, when Alfred takes the Batjet in drone mode = fangasm.

Ahhh, my other favorite shot that I forgot somehow, was Batman clinging to the wall, while the cop scours the room. I put that up there with Bale's Batman perched on Gordon's rail in BB. Just an awesome visual.

That sequence sold to me the idea that Batman strikes in Gotham in such a way that, yeah, folks at the margin do talk about him as though he were some urban myth. Nutjob, monster, sinister cabal or something else, that's how I imagine the wicked in Gotham think of Batman.

For sure! And that's how I always imagined Batman would be in real life, it's partially why I still enjoy Keaton's version so much. He should be cold, calculating and almost mythical.

Damn it, I got chills just reading that. I need to go back ASAP.

That moment when he slams that one crook on the crate, then immediately uses the grappling gun to catapult the same crate into another thug. Finally a Batman that utilizes the grappling gun in combat.

    1. MoS battle from Bruce's perspective
    2. The explosion at the hearing (completely shocking but I was hoping for that scene to be longer and actually have Superman speak out and defend himself)
    3. Batman's warehouse fight (even if he kills a few people, it was the best action scene in the entire film)

I did too. Seems like people already wrote him off as Zuckerberg, but he delivered exactly the character he was meant to. I liked him a lot.

I agree with that as well, I thought he was brilliant.
