Back in the days when i had a little money to spend on Cd's I treated myself to the odd s/track album...

- From Dusk til Dawn
- Pulp Fiction SE
- Jackie Brown
- All That Jazz
- One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest
- Best of the Rocky soundtracks
- The Virgin Suicides
- Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
- The Good the Bad and the Ugly
- The best of the James Bond s/tracks(bought before the Brosnan films existed, so only up until LTK)
- Easy Rider(lost this one, probably lent out)
- Midnight Cowboy(still have the cover, the CD mysteriously disapeared from my room)
- Taxi Driver
- The Matrix Reloaded
- Fight Club
- Blade Runner
- The Rules of Attraction (the original music composed for the film on a Cd that came with the SE dvd release)
- The Blues Brothers
- the Godfather
- the Godfather part II

I also bought a few film magazines cause they had free albums of film s/tracks, so I have a 'Scorsese s/tracks' album, and a truly great one called 'The Score' which has all sorts of obscure and famous tracks from films.

I have some favourites when it comes to original music, but i don't wish to own them on cd, as i like to keep the impact of the music for when i am actually watching the film....

Unbreakable
Star Wars films
Superman
Conan the Barbarian(I would buy this, but the title track is a different mix from the movie's, and is not as good, I have one track from it on my computer's i tunes)
Signs
The Dead Zone
Twin Peaks(I used to own this CD)
Twin Peaks FWWM(I have a copy of this on tape somewhere)

I wore out my version of The Crow soundtrack...I had that back when cassettes were all the rage! There was some awesome music on there. And in a *completely* different direction, I have a 3 cd set of music from Amadeus. :) Love that just as much!

Yeah, The Crow OST was heavy in my rotation. Also:

Blade Runner
Apocalypse Now
1492: The Conquest of Paradise
Dances With Wolves
Glory
The Long Riders
Quadrophenia
Purple Rain
Trainspotting
The Matrix

now is this for soundtracks or scores, just for clarification.

on that note, Forest Gump has a great soundtrack, I'm not even gonna lie

I meant it to be for soundtracks but so many scores have been thrown in it's become a moot point.

1. The Dark Knight
2. Transformers: Dark Of the Moon - The Album
3. Inception
4. Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen - The Album
5. Green Lantern

Or at least those are what I've been digging lately.

Some of my favorites. And I can't believe these haven't been mentioned:
a. The Royal Tenenbaums
b. The Life Aquatic
c. Boogie Nights
d. Garden State
e. Rushmore
f. Paris, Texas
g. Friday Night Lights

Batman Returns is my favorite by far.

In no particular order:

Inception
Batman Begins/The Dark Knight
Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End
The Shawshank Redemption
Sunshine

'Moon' was "simple" yet haunting with some good hope thrown in there (score).
'Donnie Darko' had some great songs intertwined with many scenes. Overall it was a pretty good atmospheric soundtrack/score.

Some of my favorites. And I can't believe these haven't been mentioned:

c. Boogie Nights

Aye, my good friend had the BN s/track, and i used to play it all the time round his house.
They released another volume of songs from it's s/track, I never heard that one.

I forgot I also bought the s/tracks to 'Dazed and Confused'(they released another volume of songs from this movie too)
The Big Lebowski and Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai.

The Dark Knight. It’s the only one I actually listen to :woot:
