Welcome, you are free to list as many as you like, I'll start off without some of the obvious choices.

Funny, heroic and reminds me of me. Catchy theme song too! Freakazoid :

1990's The Incredible Hulk :

The emotional part that hits it with me is when you see the destruction through the eyes (or helmet's face plate) of Rick.

The action in all the beings fighting the Hulk, with himself alone. The rage before we see the title, and Lou Ferrigno playing the roar of the monster.

Batman Beyond :

Simple words, creative imagery and an awesome score.

The X-Men animated series has got to be one of my favs...the theme music says it all.

Not sure if these ones are the "best" but some ones I remember and can sing the theme songs are:
-Care Bears
-Inspector Gadget
-TMNT
-Jem
-Captain Planet
-Teddy Ruxpin

...the list goes on.

There's some good compilations on YouTube of intros to many of the 80s-early 90s cartoon shows.

Pole Position - the one with the two talking cars :woot: ....was ace (got it on DVD cos I'm a big kid)

Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors

Defenders of The Earth (Stan Lee wrote the lyrics you know)

M.A.S.K.

Ulysses 31

Here's Phillip Schofield singing it in the Broomcupboard

and last but not least....

Mysterious Cities of Gold :woot:

The intro to the 90s Fantastic Four cartoon (2nd season) was pretty cool too. :word:

X-Men
Batman: The Animated Series
Death Note
Hajime no Ippo (I've actually never seen the show, but the opening is great)

The best opening sequence ever.

Again, a catchy theme, and very explanatory to the show's intentions.

Transformers -- Season 1 :

Just a good song really, the rest seems corny. However it revives fun childhood memories.

Power Rangers -- Season 1 :

Yes, I noticed. It does seem racial, with the yellow ranger and the black ranger...

Another classic intro from my childhood. So much action with a rocking theme, make this one a classic. The best I could do because of the copyright infringement on the English versions.

A nice rendition to a show I loved as kid, a mysterious and racing theme, the visuals could be better, but the monologue makes up for it.

ReBoot -- Season 3.3 ;

Thought I show the newest Simpson's intro appearing on the show from now on. Obviously not the same couch gag though.

Seeing as how it belongs in the best intros thread, I thought appropriate to show the improved version. I don't think I need to say why it's a favourite.

changed slightly, but the effect is the same. It makes you feel like you're part of the greatest team of crime fighters ever. I don't know how many times I jumped off the sofa when I was 4 years old trying to fly like superman and banging my head against the coffee table.

A nice theme song that was done by a professional alternative rock band. The images and spots from the show are also well done;

Clone High :

An excellent theme that reminds me of a late childhood, with destructive moments shown, all explain the show's intentions and moods.

Malcolm in the Middle :

A climactic theme and great visuals, always got excited when I used to watch this part of the show;

Justice League -- Season 1 :

Another one from the great DC cartoons, this one is self explanatory.

1990's Batman :

One that has also been previously mentioned, this one has brilliant visuals and showcases all the abilities and coolness of each character from the show, (and a few villains as well!) and just tell me that song isn't legendary.

1990's X-Men :

I couldn't find it on Youtube, buy Hey Arnold's intro was excellent. As well as Doug. Loved that show.
