I also have "The Original Ghost Rider Rides Again-#7: The Eater of Souls"
And "Ghost Rider 2099-#1"

:D

I have Essential Ghost Rider Vol. 1.

I also have one based off the Ketch series and it has like the first ten issues in the one book. Ghost Rider is on his Hellcycle on the cover with a city backround.

Let's see...as I remember, I have:

Ghost Rider (Western style, 1967) #6

Ghost Rider
vol.1 #6,11,14-17,23,26,29,33-81(final)
vol.2 complete
all following: complete

Spirits of Vengeance: complete
Original GR: complete
Original GR rides again: complete
GR 2099: complete
MCP: complete

and then: several one-shots, cross-overs, TPB, Essential, Poster-books, issues from Over the edge/Midnight Sons/Supernaturals/Champions/etc. ...and so on (don't want to list all of them, but you get the picture, right? :cwink: )

although, so far, I haven't actually read all of them...
:ghost:

I had the original series, including Marvel Spotlight 5-11 (and a CGC 7.5 MS #5) that I sold on ebay about a year ago for $600. It's probably worth more by now.

I also have the whole Ghost Rider 90's series (with the whole Spirits of Vengeance series) which I'm selling on Ebay this week (it's already listed, ends next Friday).

Best of all, I have the 6 issues from the newest series, including issue six which printed a letter I sent them in the editor's page. If you look for the second to last letter with an MS paint drawing of Ghostie's new bike, that's me. I also corrected their grammar in the letter. I was pretty excited when I saw that they printed it. It's the first letter I ever wrote into a comic book. Made my week.

Hi Rainer,

nice to meet you here in this forum, too. Welcome aboard.
Really nice people here. A real home for the GR-fan. :cwink:
:ghost:

Well, I already knew you were a big GR-fan, but that's a nearly complete collection...impressive.
Not too easy to acquire for the European fanboy, isn't it?

Best wishes.

Doc D

Hi Doc,

Welcome aboard.

Thank you. :yay:

Yup. Without Internet (ebay), my collection would me "a little bit" smaller. Getting Vol. 2 complete was rather easy, than say, the first 30 issues from Vol. 1. I'll only hope to get Marvel Spotlight # 5 some day. That and the two missing Ghost Rider Toy Comics ("Ghost Rider Special Edition")

If I may inquire, how did you come across your Ghost Rider Toy Comics? Did you have to pick up the toys themselves or did you manage to find them for sale by themselves? I only ask because that's a set of GR comics that I've never been able to track down, and I really don't want to have to buy the crummy toys in order to get my hands on them.

I had to buy the toys. And have to agree, most look awful. :csad: Do you know if there are some other rare GR comics that i don't have yet ?

There ARE two rare Ghost Rider comics that were available only as mail-in promotional items back in the early 90s. The first was part of a Kaybee Toys promotion that offered a limited Ghost Rider comic called "Hot Pursuit", while the other was through Charleston Chew candy. The Charleston Chew comic was like Marvel Comics Presents, in that it featured four separate 8-page stories for four characters (Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, and Silver Surfer). The Ghost Rider story in that comic was not very good, I'm afraid.

As for the "Hot Pursuit" comic, it's on my wish-list at mycomicshop.com, so I should be notified if they get a copy in stock.

Hot Pursuit wasn't the best story. But it's worth getting to own.
I'd have to rearrange my room in order to get to my comic boxes, and I'm nowhere near getting that done yet. All I know is I don't have any issues of the original series, and complete sets of Vol. 2 and up.

Keep in mind one of the issues(cant remember which, but it was right in the middle of the run) was never released. So you may only be missing 1.

Oh, and far as thread goes, as far as I know, I have everything :woot:

That was news for me. Could that be # 7 ? That would explain a lot. It looks like however, they printed # 10 for two different action figures. (I haven't read the comics yet.) That would mean i'm still missing two comics. But thanks for that information. :yay:

Edit: And thanks @ Ixnay for that Link.

man i remember reading the mini comic when i was a kid! ghost rider and blaze were talking to someone in the hospital i think and i have no idea where they went!!!

hey dont forget about the Ghost Rider megamorph mini comic. i got that one but i need doctor octapus's because ghost rider is in that one!

In case anyone is wondering what the value of the 90's GR series is, my Ghost Rider collection (vol.2 1-93 and S.o.V. 1-23) went for $202.50 on Ebay. (Ended today)

It was about as much as I hoped I would get.

Anyone have photos of their collection? Would love to see'em.

I am a new one to Ghost Rider so all I have is

-All of the new series' issues.
-the Ultimate 12" movie figure and cycle
-the Chain attack Interchangable GR movie figure.
-Marvel Legends 3 GR fig.

And thats it. But hopefully I'll add some more stuff soon. :)

I got most of the 90s series.
All of the new series so far
Most of the SOV series
A few of the Midnight Sons Quarterlys
A bunch of crossovers from Spiderman, Midnight Massacre, all 3 of the Wolv/Pun/GR and the Crossroads, the Captain America graphic novel, the ones where Punisher Countdown series where he was going after Nick Fury, Speed Demon amalgam comic, the entire Top Cow graphic novel series where GHost Rider is transported to the Top Cow Universe to hunt down Mephisto.

I have the entire Ghost Rider trading card series, and an extra box of the individually wrapped cards (unopened). I used to own an awesome Midnight Sons Door poster, a few Awesome Ghost Rider posters, and a bunch of other trinkets and stuff that I eventually gave away...although I still have the cards.

I'm really considering buying the GR Statue, it would look great on my Computer Desk.

I have them all, every crossover, every cover, and 30 something copies of the Ketch series #1, and no I won't send you one.

How about 2 then?

Almost everything, as far as I know. The KayBee and Charleston Chews specials and the minis that came with the toys are the main missing pieces in my collection, though there are couple crossovers I still need to pick up as well.

Here's a link showing the covers to most of the toy comics:

http://217.196.238.182/big-tel/promos/mini/grminis.htm

Thanks for that, in came in handy as I track these down.

Yeah, I haven't seen any evidence of the existance of a #7. I think that site's assumption that there are 12 comics is wrong. They all continue into each other, and 10 says that things will be concluded in #11. So it's an 11 issue story with a missing 7th installment. Awkward.

I did get #10 with two different figures, Exploding GR and Zarathos, but it also looks like #11 (which also comes with one of the GRs) might've been in some Zarathos packages. This 10 and 11 doubling is probably how 7 got lost.
