Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I am keen to collate a variety of views and anecdotes on this topic.

My own prescriptions have varied over the years. While I was a student I favoured hair of the dog (usually chilled vodka). I then realised that the body seemed to need to rebuild on something, and for a while felt restored by a perfectly fried pork schnitzel. Once I drank strong black coffee to wake the brain, but I now find that it dehydrates, and drink pints of Assam tea instead. Porridge had its time in the sun. A Bloody Mary with a plate of fried eggs and Morcilla, followed by grapefruit, was my last total success.

Never really had to deal with hangovers much. I was surprisingly always sure to drink plenty of water before heading to bed when I got drunk.

Whataburger + lots of water if it isn't too bad.

Powerade when its really bad (as in I don't remember wtf happened after a certain point in evening) and I can't keep food down. I was still throwing up yellow crap all morning into the afternoon and spent most of the day on the couch.

I'm one of the lucky few that can drink like a monster and not have a hangover, but several of my friends swear by Zofran. It's an anti-nausea pill they take the morning after. Catch is that you need a prescription, but if you're able to get some it supposedly works miracles.

I don't drink. :o

Well, I do a few times a year but usually in moderation. I get the 7% cider I sell and buy it a litre at a time. I also drink a good amount of water while I do so any hangover is lessened quite a bit.

Drink some gatorade before you go boozing, does help keeping the hangovers away
