^That's the theory anyway. Suprisingly we know very little about our sleep state in general.

Eh, I don't buy it.

I dream a lot, and then sometimes I don't.

That's like people that say nobody dreams in color. I know for a fact that I f**king dream in color. :o

i don't think we always dream, regardless of remembering it

as for dreaming in color, i don't really notice color unless it's something integral to the dream, if that makes sense? like if someone desaturated my dream in photoshop, but left certain things in color. i used to have a dream dictionary that explained the significance of different colors and numbers in dreams but i lost it a long time ago

I dream every single night. It doesn't matter if I'm sober, drunk, high, etc. I always dream, and it's always vivid.

Recently I've been able to like, start a dream, wake up, then go back to sleep and continue it. I don't know how, but I've done it. A lot. And no, I'm not dreaming that I woke up. :argh: (I know I did cuz I kinda peed on the floor.....you try having a steady stream after sex and half asleep! )

lucky.

like i said earlier i rarely dream anymore. and if i do dream, more than half the time it is nightmares. i hate that

I've heard that using a dream diary really helps you to remember your dreams.

It's underwhelming. All the stuff you thought was cool or scary sounds lame when it's not in your head. :o

I get far more nightmares than I ever used to, perhaps that's how it goes as one gets older... :csad:

I've been trying for a while to concentrate before I fall asleep, in order to be able to know when I'm dreaming. and it works when I concentrate enough. Once, but only once, I realized I was in a dream, and I changed what was happening.

If you didn't dream, you'd slowly go insane.
I lived years with so many nights free of dreams
I must be insane and I don't yet know it

I hate that some of the things I used to enjoy doing now feel like chores and have lost the "fun" factor. :down
It happens to everyone :csad:

That's neat

I've gotten fairly decent at lucid dreaming. Usually when a dream is too strange, or I just know something would never happen, I can realize I'm in the dream. Sometimes I can influence things. Often I can just force myself awake.

The forced outrage over Alan Scott's sexuality. While not a homophobe, my room mate complained about having difficulty reading Green Lantern because of it. Until the announcement, he did not know who Alan Scott was...nor Earth 2.

It only bugs me because it's being used only as a marketing ploy.

If you want to make a gay character, make a gay character. Obsidian was awesome. But if you're turning a character gay, and then announcing it to the press as a big thing, you're just doing it to try and generate controversy and boost sales. That's scummy.

But outside of that, I don't really care.

I'm not reading Earth-2 anyway because I hate how Robinson writes. His dialog is horrible. I read the first book, and that was enough for me. And my rule is to give a series 3 books before giving up on it. (Of course, after reading his JLA stuff last year, he's lucky I read the first issue at all.)

I hate that so many members of my extended family are so obsessed with money. I understand that they grew up right after the Depression and their parents made sure they knew just how hard they had it in the 30s but with all respect, the 1930s are over. Get over it.

As I said a while ago, my aunt was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Her sister planned to fly to her place to see her, until they were told to come another time. I guess the plane tickets had already been purchased and now they cant get a refund. So the sister is complaining about the lost money. They live in a penthouse overlooking Lake Michigan. I think they can afford it.

I freakin hate money. :cmad:

don't blame money. Money hasn't done anything to you.

It's just greed.

More like lust.

Dirty, nasty, hot, sexy lust.

....for money.

......I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing any more. :o:huh:

There's different levels of homophobia. He's obviously a little homophobic if he's having such a negative reaction.

I don't think the love of money is the root of all evil.

.....

*looks around*

....

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I hate when posters don't understand the concept that posting a post is a clear enough indication of opinion, not that it needs to be responded to saying that it's your opinion.
