Your most anticipated games of 2025

Mine are Grand Theft Auto VI and Assassin's Creed Shadows. I have other 6 games I'm also looking forward to but I'm not hyped for them.

Yeah I’m excited for assassins creed shadows too. Also Spider-Man 2 on steam.

Civ VII and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Avowed, Civ 7, Fable, Tempest Rising, and Hades 2 (if it comes out of EA).

There's also the roguelite Deep Rock Galactic spinoff that will launch in EA late 2025 that I'm looking forward to very much.

just GTA6. that's it. the other #6 game (Persona) I don't think is confirmed for next year.

Assassin's Creed Shadows and, hopefully, State of Decay 3 and Perfect Dark.

GTA VI for sure.

In a not too distant second place is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for PS5.

That's pretty much it. The only other game coming out next year I have interest in playing is Death Stranding 2 but I'd probably wait a while after launch to play that one.

If GTA VI, gets delayed to 2026... then Mafia: The Old Country would be my most anticipated. AC Shadows would still be my #2, because I really prefer open world video games in a more modern setting, though Mafia is still set in the previous century.

When I saw Crimson Desert presented at Game Awards 2024, I was like "this game is still not out and its now targeting a late 2025 release, so basically another year of waiting". The game being teased for this long is actually what intrigues me about the game, rather the actual game itself.

And Witcher IV is definitely not being released next year. I think the host definitely implied that when it was introduced.

Wouldn't be anything new for Rockstar. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption II both got delayed from their original announced release date. I feel like this time they waited to release a trailer until they knew for sure that they'd be able to release it in 2025 but I'm still not going to be sold on that until we get to the summer and there's no indication of a delay.

Well now that GTA VI isn't coming out this year and Indiana Jones has been released for PS5, I guess Ghost of Yotei is now my most anticipated for the rest of the year.
