Variety says 2018 (my guess late 2018)

Coen Brothers’ TV Project ‘Ballad of Buster Scruggs’ Lands at Netflix

The Coen Brothers’ first television project is heading to Netflix, the streaming giant announced on Wednesday.

As Variety reported exclusively in January, the Coens are developing a Western anthology titled “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.” It will feature six tales about the American frontier. Each chapter will feature a different story about the American West. The project will star Tim Blake Nelson as Buster.

“The Coens are visionary directors, masterful storytellers, and colorful linguists. We are thrilled for Netflix to become home to the full range of their talents,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of original content for Netflix.

Joel and Ethan Coen will executive produce, write, and direct the project. Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle from Annapurna Television will also serve as executive producers, along with longtime Coen Brothers collaborator Robert Graf. Annapurna Television will produce. It is expected to launch in 2018.

I'm not going to try naming seasons of existing shows; since I rent so much of what I watch, I'm not caught up with 2017, anyway. As far as new shows go:

Reverie
Altered Carbon
Wayward Sisters (if it happens)
Castle Rock
24 anthology series (if it happens)

The Americans (Last season </3)
Atlanta S2
Legion S2
Jessica Jones S2
Daredevil S3
True Detective S3

New:
Black Lightning
Krypton

Returning:
Supergirl
Lucifer
Gotham
L&O:SVU
Designated Survivor

Some good stuff mentioned. Stuff I forgot about, and stuff I wasn't aware of. That's one of the reasons I started this. To see what's on other peoples radar that might not have caught my attention.

I don’t really keep up to date with what new shows are coming up so it’s good to get a heads up here.

The one that I will definitely be looking out for is The Witcher. Really hope they can do that justice.

And also very much looking forward to DDS3 and JJS2.

I have skipped Calpadi as the Doctor (bar his first episode and this recent Christmas special) but very much looking forward to seeing Jodie Whitaker as the new iteration.

Survivor
The Amazing Race
America's Next Top Model
The Real Housewives of New Jersey

the withcer and young justice outsiders(hope for more episodes then in season 1 and 2, maybe more seasons)

-Trollhunters

-tales of Arcadia

- Daredevil S3
- Jessica Jones S2
- Legion S2

The Witcher - I know almost nothing about the series but I'm inexplicably excited to see it come to TV.
The Expanse s3
Game of Thrones s8
Better Call Saul s4 - I feel like this show has gotten better with every season.
The Man in the High Castle s3
American Crime Story s2 - I'm curious to see how Ryan Murphy, a gay man, interprets this story.
Legion s2

Trollhunters s2 has been pretty good so far.
Is Young Justice supposed to drop in 2018?

I was excited about Black Lightning, but the trailers have left me feeling less so. I'll give it a look, but my expectations are way down.

I'm kind of anticipating ABC's version of "American Idol" when it debuts in March, but mostly because I'm curious to see how they're going to make it a success after it got cancelled on Fox due to disastrous ratings.

If nobody wanted to watch the show on Fox, why would they watch it on ABC? Judging by the commercials, it doesn't look like they changed anything. It's still basically the same show it was when it first started in 2000.

Can't believe I forgot about the third season of Into the Badlands.

Better Call Saul and a few reality shows that are a part of my yearly routine.
