Just saw this movie again since like three years ago and it is just so good!
Its scary, haunting, and sad...yeah, not only do I feel sorry for the victims of Buffalo Bill and Hannibal but its also sad how crazy and delusional they are.
This is still the best suspense/thriller film ever made and I'm just wondering if we'll ever get anything like it, seven was the only movie that came close and SOTL still beats it by miles!
And who wasn't on the edge of their seat when buffalo bill was stalking Clarice with his night goggles on!? :wow:

I still love this movie aswell :woot:

The acting is superb. For me, the best villain of all time is Hannibal lecter. The way Hopkins portrayed him in this film was chilling, and it still freaks me out a bit i must admit :hehe:

Seven is a good movie, but it doesnt even come close to SOTL in my book :yay:

Ugh! that scene with the night googles drives me insane, cause between her panting and Buffalo Bill reaching out to her the suspense gets intense :wow:

I agree, Hannibal is the best villain on film. I also loved Buffalo Bill...What makes it creepy is that people like that do exist, they could be your neighbors, your teacher, etc.
And when she was panting I was yelling at the screen "be quiet!!" hehe.

great movie, but i will always prefer "manhunter"
I always wanted to watch manhunter. I've seen red dragon, I thought it was okay but doesn't do justice to the book. The book as usual is much better than the movie but I hear manhunter was good.

One of the greatest movies ever. Two of the greatest acting performances of all time by Jodie and Tony.

i thought it was too creepy and disturbing... its as if it was meant to be! :cmad:

though i haven't seen it since a kid, i need to see it again.

It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again....PUT THE F***ING LOTION IN THE BASKET!!!

The Silence of the Lambs is a really good film. I like the other Hannibal films a lot as well like Red Dragon, Hannibal and Manhunter.

Alot of people will disagree, I'm sure but I think it's an incredibly corny movie, to be honest. The plot with Buffalo Bill and the skin-suit he makes is ridiculous, and I don't think Lecter is scary at all, don't get me started on Jodie Foster, not only in this movie, but in general.

It's based off a real person. Ed Gein, he actully wore there skin and danced in the moonlight.

On topic: I think this is an excellent movie, never get tired rematching it.

It was okay but not what I expected. When I saw it when I was like 13 I was expecting to be totally digusted or shocked or frightened or something, based on what I had heard. Although I was entertained it wasn't all that horrorific.

Fantastic movie. The rewatchability, as well as the performances are outstanding.
