1) The Joker is the ultimate villain. He can be used to fit into any style, serious or humerous. And on any scale.
2) Venom/Carnage- They might be consistantly abused at present, but for a time they were the coolest badasses in comics.
3) Crypt- Probably nobody knows the character, but look him up!

in case you didnt know my boy came on the scene in the early 80's in a book that i love call "the player on the other side"( highly recommended) his origin is the exact opposite of Bats. his parents where killed by cops and he has devoted his life to fight justice. as determine as bats is, so is the wraith against law.The only thing that makes him better/ worst is that he kills and with Bats being able to beat just about anybody with(prep time). This guy should be unstoppable.That's why i love him. Morrison made "Prometheus" a pale imitation of this guy. This is the original and the best. he just showed up again in the comics and on "the Batman" tv show. if they had kept up with him i thought next to the Joker this guy would be bats biggest foe.I dig this guy
