Top 50 favorites or 50 best films? There is a difference

You're top 50. You're favorite films in the top 50. If I told you to rank the movies you've seen in your lifetime, give us the top 50.

My in depth movie countdown:

50. Terminator Salvation
The first time I had heard of these movies being good I never gave it much thought until July 18, 2008 at the first minute of the day when me and my friend were watching the previews before the Dark Knight. After the film (and before as I had walked into his house on him watching T2) he gave me a complete review of the three films.

Over two decades after the first Terminator came out, T:Salvation acts as a new beginning and a bridging of two Trilogies. Al though the story is in continuity of the original Terminator trilogy, the tone, pacing and setting is completely different. This story re-introduces the story from a different angle, mentioning the past (whereas the old ones had constant references to the future).

I feel this film did the trilogy justice and it successfully established it's own town for the next two sequels that will end the Terminator Saga. This film touched on destiny, humanity, and how human's shouldn't deal with "that which they do not understand". It also emphasized a lot on second chance and what it means to be human. It also featured a lot of action, Christian Bale and robots. As one of my best friends put it "-I realized this movie was Batman Vs Transformers!" The only way this could have been better was if there was more of the original theme music involved.

49. Kung Fu Panda
Dreamworks is infamous for their Animated Films that make constant references to pop culture like Shrek and Madagascar. This movie was an exception (and thank God for that!!!) This movie didn't tear apart martial arts, in fact it placed a lot of respect on it. It also created it's own mythology. The animation style, the music and the tone of the movie were all unique and sub-par! And in short, it was a lot of fun to watch!

48. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Giant explosians, hot girls, and towering robots. What more could you ask for?! Amazing acting, the robots looked so real, the directing was good (besides the fact that EVERY shot was sunrise) and the music was great. My only complaint would be MF's acting (although it was MUCH better in this film than any other of her performances), the sunrises and the twins. Besides that this film was awesome (and I got to hook up with a french girl afterwards!)

47. Ray
An amazing bio-pic! Incredible acting, nice covers of RC's music, phenominal directing and the script was brilliant. It when through his life flawlessly.

46.The Bourne Ultimatum
One of the Greatest action flicks of our time! Fast paced, good acting, good directing, amazing music, nice tone and an actually good storyline! One of the few 3rd movies out there, and one of the few AMAZING action films available.

It is hard for me to make exact rankings for 50 films, but I'll make a generalized list for this later

I could (maybe) name 50 movies of my liking but I really don't feel I have seen enough movies to make a valuable list.

Giant explosians, hot girls, and towering robots. What more could you ask for?!

A movie.

There is a lot of wiggle room in this list, and a few films can likely be subbed for other ones depending on my mood, but here is a general list. I opted to go mostly by favorite ranking as opposed to what I feel was overall best objectively. Some are in a particular place, while others are not:
