This woman is a substitute teacher at my old high school. She once asserted to me that the fact that apples are good for your heart and also look like a heart is definitive, unquestionable proof that God exists. That is all the context you need.

She once yelled at me for ten minutes straight because I said Metallica was awesome and that wasn't the "proper use of the word!". She also said that if I ever got hit by a tidal wave, I'd see the true meaning of "awesome"...so yeah! Great substitute to have!

At one point during the pledge of allegiance she yelled the "under God" part, and then went off on a tangent about how God needs to be put back in schools. This was in a public school, mind you.

I've had enough God in public school. All boys school, run by priests and the uniforms just made it worse!

I doubt that's a public school. Public schools are usually run by incompetent fools and the uniform policy is basically "Please wear clothes." :awesome:

YouTube gave everyone a voice....the question as to whether that's a good or a bad thing is severely debatable

I love Sxephil and RayWJ (RayWilliamJohnson) on Youtube. Yeah, same format of shows, but funny as hell. :woot:

Oh and Skweezy. Crazy as hell!

Couldn't watch past 0:13.... Yikes. Makes me glad I'm going into education on one hand...

Bro Rape is probably the funniest youtube video I have seen

Tell me she wasnt subbing for a science class.

I have no problem with teachers telling kids about God, as long as its a private school or a Sunday school class. I dont see scientists trying to put Darwin's theory of evolution into Sunday school. Its the Creationists that want God to be everywhere.

I made it about 20 seconds in. These kind of people are the reason I no longer associate myself with any organized religion.

Does this really go on for 8 minutes? I didn't last too long, but there's just no way she just keeps going right?

Dude.

:shock yikes! She reminded me of Mrs. Carmody from The Mist.

Maybe not in Sunday school, but I did have that biology teacher in my public high school telling students that evolution proved why God couldn't possibly exist. So it goes both ways really. That's why sweeping generalizations never really work out.

I've been following those two, HappySlip, Shaycarl/Shaytards, and OlgaKay-- though it's recently become clear to me that I'm only following Olga because she's hot, because there's pretty much nothing entertaining about her.

I never understood this "logic".

Evolution and God aren't mutually exclusive concepts, but a startling number of people think they are for some reason I can't conceive.

Oh, I know. It's weird, the basic fundamentals of science and religion don't contradict each other (in fact they compliment each other quite well), but they're almost always placed at odds with one another.

Let's not turn this into an evolution/creationism thread and just enjoy the crazy lady.

You've got it, Sarge. Nothing I like more than watching crazy people. Reminds me of home. :csad:

She really is insane. A friend of mine got kicked out of a class she was subbing for because she tried to preach to him, and he said he didn't believe in God. How she has remained employed by the school is a mystery because to my knowledge she has been reported multiple times by multiple teachers. But it's always good to have crazies around.

That's really odd that she remained in employ after something like that happened... that friend of yours must not have gone to the superintendent... Either that or your school district just doesn't want to deal with people, which happens.

I had a sub that cursed out the entire third grade class. I'm not sure if she was fired.

Oh I'm fairly certain she has been reported to the right people, just never dealt with because she has been subbing for years and I guess they're short on substitute teachers.
