Yeah, probably more murder mystery and less slapstick comedy
which is unfortunate... but nobody was gonna touch Tim Curry's butler energy anyway, so probably the only way to go

Hmmm. I absolutely love the original so my initial reaction is “No! Don’t touch this!” But I liked Barbarian so… maybe this could work? Not sure.

It's one of those things where since it's a different genre, it at least makes it slightly less of an unnecessary remake. But if they're doing that they might as well leave Clue alone and do a 1313 Dead End Drive movie.
