Zelda Fan Film

Sorry, haven't posted in a long time. I got kicked off of AOL, and so I am back as Superhobo. Anyhoo, We filmed last night. We tried for a really Gothic feel, and so We found a way to achieve an eerie glow for Link as He lies on his bed, awoken from a nightmare. He's in shock, and I am surpised. Jeff's doing good. Can we get him a round 'o applause please?

P.S. we have delayed filming due to the Dangerous Heat Wave over here. We will film as soon as it is over. The temp is one hundred and ten over here...:(

We might get a cold front tomorrow! Ninety Four!
 
Okay...I'm gonna tell alla ya this for the last time.

He does not have the hat. A hat like that would fall off of his head constantly. Now take a look closer at the costume...

And why would it look like Zelda?
 
ok this has gotten riddiclous, i dont mean to hurt anybodys fealings in the next few things im going to say, but this is starting to look crappy, it doesnt have to be the hat he wears just some hat, the costume looks nothing along the line of link, u might as well call this the legend of zelda with other people, sorry man but unless u drasticaly change the way things r going i dont want to see it
 
i could start the changes by getting another actor for link
 
link wears a hat, taking links hat away is like taking superman's S away. You take it away and its no longer link. Its possible to make it work.
 
Okay...This really ticks me, Tim. Who asked you if you wanted to see it? I am taking time outta doing...other things...to tell you about me film, and what do you do? You say He should have his hat. ALL OF YOU...

DO YOU WANT THIS FILM TO LOOK UNDER FUNDED?THE ONLY WAY TO INCORPORATE HIS HAT AS IT IS IN THE FILM, MEANING A COOL HAT, WOULD BE STICKS INSIDE THE HAT! WE WANT THIS FILM TO LOOK REAL. MEANING IT IS NOT A VIDEO GAME.

I have done many models of him with the hat. And none match up to the game. I want to be faithful to it, but sadly if you badger that kind of thing, I cannot. This is my film. Not yours. And no, I am not firing my cousin.

Like I said, its possible to make the hat look good. Maybe a more creative mind could do something that you haven't already tired.

No...You misunderstand. I made this thread to get critisism. But when I tell people why we are not have a certain thing, and they keep on badgering about "Why doesn't He have a hat," And I have told you why, it bugs me. Just got a little mad there. Been under a lot of stress as of late.
 
Believe me when I say I wanted the hat in the film as much as you. Also, we have tried more models this day. None worked. Also, the Gandalf hat was made as an actual hat, not as the taboggon (sp) model that Link has. Imagine him running through the streets of Hyrule Castle Town and his hat keeps falling off.
Yeah. And, lest we not forget one thing. There is more than one
designer on our team. And none of us could come up with a realistic model for the hat. WE TRIED.

Of course, I could use the black hood that was in the previous costume shots, and make him have a hood out of that. If I can make that work, I will.

No offense but i'm not too excited about this project. The thing that's really turning me off of it is the coustume. But still keep tryin man. Good luck.

You're just going to rip that music off of someone's else's trailer. At least I'm going to use some music that is known, that I didn't steal from someone else's trailer.

Well, let me put it to you this way: Max Magician is a movie I loathe alot. If your little endeavor is more painful than that, you will be told about it by yours truly.

uh lets see, everything we have seen so far no one likes, u r WAY to uptight about criticism, the costume is not link, the actor is not link, the only thing ive semi liked so far was the music and that wasnt even urs. ok i say this just wanting a good film i dont mean to hurt anyone. oh and please please please watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves w/ Kevin Costner and look at the costumes, please, they didnt give robin his hat but it still worked, u could learn alot from this movie
 
You have not read up on the Dark Ages, have you? This is going to be close to the games. And who are you to say the actor is not Link? Why don't you wait and see? Oh...and uh...

Dude, you are WAY too uptight. The reason people aren't liking this is because no hat, and the costumes, the actor.... When it omes down to it, it is not a Zelda film. Stealing a storyline and music and characters doesnt do anything for you. If you wanna make a Zelda movie, then stay true to the game. The way this looks to be heading is kinda crappy.... Like the others said.
