Yahtzee is hilarious. Sure, he gave negative reviews to one or two games I like, but the way he points out flaws is just too damn hilarious to hate.

His best moment ever was when describing why people don't like Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within because of the tone of the game...

I can sorta see why he hates fighting games. I only find them fun if there's someone else to play against, and even that gets boring after about 15 minutes.

I think he also hates MMORPGs.

That's why online play is such a blessing. Now I always have an unlimited slew of challenging opponents. It used to be I could either play against my brother until I got sick of having my butt kicked, or I could play against my friends until they got sick of me kicking their butts. Also, Mortal Kombat Deception had a pretty good single player mode I thought.

I think he also hates MMORPGs.

I tend to agree that MMORPGs are overrated. They're designed solely for the purpose of making you pay a ridiculous amount of money just to do the same freaking thing over and over again, and I don't find that terribly appealing. However, with the advent of fan servers (which let you play for free, and usually have accelerated experience points), at least it's possible to play now without being robbed of your savings, and some of your time.

I disagree with him on quite a bit of stuff, including fighting games, and most of what he said in his Halo 3 review. But regardless of how his and my opinions mesh up, he's consistently hillarious, and does make good points.

Yahtzee is f***in awesome. Loved it when he tried to explain the story of Metal Gear Solid 4. "OH GOD, I CAN'T GO ON! THIS S#!T IS BANANAS!"

I will concede that Chrono Trigger and FFVII are on equal levels of awesome, but not one more than the other.

1. Yahtzee and AVGN are both awesome and hilarious.

2. FFVII is just revered because it was many peoples first foray into RPG territory. The game, when looked past the rose colored glasses, is nowhere near the greatness of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, VI, or even FF VIII for that matter.

Sorry, that one is more personal opinion than the others...I'm one of the few out there who feel FFVIII was the best of the three FF games on the PS1.
