THE DARK KNIGHT. I love a cerebral film like this, and it provides a lot symbolism and metaphors to think about and appreciate, as well as being compelling at all times, and it hits the mark on action, drama, story development, and characters. The characters are well developed, the story makes sense, and the action sequences are exhilarating, and they all work very cohesively and enhance each other.
